A lovely, clean, reasonably priced and convenient place. Just five minutes from the surfing beaches of Rincon by car, 15 minutes by bicycle. Views of the ocean too! And a totally outfitted kitchen for those who want to cook in. One block away there's a tranquil beach if the big waves at Playa Maria are too much for you. There you can rent bikes, buy wine, eat at the Harbor Restaurant. Or you can just take the elevator downstairs to the pool, where there are outdoor showers and quiet. Not a lot of people there during the week at all, so it feels as if you have the whole condo building to yourself. On weekends a few more apartments are occupied, but everyone is civil and friendly. No wild parties and loud music. It really is a "refugio"--a refuge. You can be as laid back as you like or take in the nightlife of Rincon, Playa Timbu or go south 15 minutes to Anasco, which is lined with restaurants and other diversions. Cabo Rojo, with it's breathtakingly beautiful cove and white-sand beaches is just an hour's drive south. Ponce is not far beyond. So culture is easily at hand if you want. And there's plenty of natural beauty. Each night you return to a modern, casually furnished comfortable apartment. There's a video store just down the street for vegging out in front of the TV, and a little plaza a few blocks away to shop and eat in. I highly, highly recommend this place!!
