Paris Personified—Where 19th Century Charm Meets Modern Elegance
Experience the city to the fullest at Le Trésor de Montmartre, a refined two-bedroom apartment set in the iconic Montmartre neighborhood of central Paris.
Here cobblestone streets and rich history meet, and artists such as, Van Gogh, Picasso, Monet, Dali, and Toulouse-Lautrec practiced their art. Montmartre was the centre of free-wheeling and decadent entertainment at the turn of the 20th century. No doubt you’ve heard of the era’s popular cabarets including the Moulin Rouge, Le Chat Noir, and Lapin Agile.
Now, locals stroll with fresh groceries and duck into their favorite cafes. Yet the neighborhood retains its artistic vibe, and you can still enjoy five-star dining or take in a show at the local cabaret. And, in the midst of this historic backdrop, you’ll find our lovely vacation rental, Le Trésor de Montmartre, which features classical French architecture for a seamless Parisian experience.
Le Trésor de Montmartre is a beauty created from muted, watercolor-inspired hues, natural light, lovely cross-breezes in summertime, and the warm glow of chandeliers. Authentic crown molding, French doors, and two original, ceramic ornamental fireplaces preserve the apartment’s vintage 19th century charm, while upgrades like a sleek new kitchen, elegant luxury bathroom, and even an office space with a printer, free WiFi, free long distance phone calls remind you of our modern day’s advantages*. We even have an elevator, which makes hauling your luggage and daily groceries upstairs a breeze!
The open living area invites you to gather with your family for an unhurried conversation on plush furniture near floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Montmartre, or at the glass dining table with Phillip Starck-designed seating for four. An adjacent kitchen provides a four-burner flat top stove, a refrigerator, and a microwave/oven combination set against a sleek tile backsplash.
Through a set of shaded French doors, access the office space, which also doubles as an extra bedroom, thanks to the sofa that converts to a queen-sized bed (its comfort will be a pleasant surprise!). With a convenient desk, the printer is yours to use and is stocked with paper.
A master bedroom, also entered through shaded French doors, calls to you at the end of the day. The queen-sized bed is fitted with supremely soft sheets and a pile of downy pillows. A large window opens to the quiet, cobblestone street and a traditional Montmartre stairway, made famous by several French films set here. When you want to block out the outside world for a bit—after a long flight, or during bright summer nights maybe—heavy curtains over the windows make all the difference.
Wait until you see the bathroom, which is located off the living room. It’s quite large by Parisian standards, luxurious, and outfitted with all the best amenities—from a rainfall showerhead, to a deep soaker tub, to a vanity with plenty of space for all of your toiletries. Sink into a long, hot bath with a glass of wine at hand and a collection of our ultra-plush towels warming in the heated towel rack.
Located on a quiet side street, Le Trésor de Montmartre is just a two-minute walk from the cafes, restaurants, grocers, wine shops, cheese shops, chocolate shops, and butchers that together create that feeling—the one that belongs to Paris alone. Begin your morning with coffee and croissants from the boulangerie down the street. Later enjoy a quiet dinner party with your friends as you sip wine and sample cheese. For more far-flung exploring, the metro or bus are just a few minutes away by foot.
Le Trésor de Montmartre is a true gem in central Paris.

After visiting Paris many times, we knew we wanted to spend a lot more time in this amazing city. After many kilometers walking around the city, we found this apartment in 2007 and after an extensive renovation we have a 'home' that we like to share.
One week, two weeks, or even a year are not enough time to really get to know Paris. You can explore forever and always find something fascinating and enjoyable.
Guests tell us time and time again how much they enjoy the neighborhood with its multitude of restaurants, bistros, food stores all within 5 minutes walk. Perhaps mostly they enjoy the 'feel' of being a 'local', yest being close to the main touristic attractions of Paris and beyond
We will help make your trip easy and special. Let us know your special needs and interests, we are here to share our love of Paris with you.
