Blown Away!!!

My husband and I used this cabin in October for a 5 day getaway from Texas, and we were blown away by the luxury of the condo and striking beauty of the mountains. We flew from Texas into Bozeman, and our short drive to Big Sky along the river was absolutely breathtaking. All of the trees were in bright reds, oranges, and yellows against the clear blue sky.
We walked into the condo and could not believe how gorgeous it was, and how well it seemed to "fit" with the beauty that was outside as well. It is absolutely a "luxury condo" and the views of the mountains from the balcony were astounding. Ryan loved to sit in the rocking chair on one of the balconies and drink his coffee in the morning- watching the sun hit Lone Peak. I loved sitting on the couch in front of the fireplace just soaking in the beauty of the mountains through the huge windows.
We spent the next 4 days exploring Lone Mountain, Ouzzle Falls, the Beehive Basin hikes, saw all kinds of wildlife, and fell in love with Yellowstone Park. We loved getting to see the elk, buffalo, moose, mountain goats, and even a grizzly bear! (From a good, safe distance of course!). We wrapped each perfect day up with a great dinner (they have the best food in Big Sky!) and a little time in the hot tub on the deck.
Everything you could possibly need is in this condo- it is a prime vacation location, as well as an incredible set of accommodations. The owners have done an incredible job with outfitting an already spectacular venue. There is plenty of room for 3 couples, 2 families, and at least 10 singles... comfortably.
Things you do not want to miss:
Beehive Basin Hike (both lower and upper)
Yellowstone Park: especially the elk and the valley
Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride at Lone Mountain Ranch
Blue Moon Bakery Pizza and Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chopper's Hamburger after a long hike
The Hot Tub
Dinner at Lone Mountain Ranch and Moonlight Basin
Driving right before dusk to spot animals
Summer is whole different story, but to name a few:
White-Water Rafting
Hiking
Fly-Fishing
Symphony in Big Sky: outdoor theatre
Tom Turner's Property
Yellowstone Again
Hiking up Lone Mountain
alright enough, enough...
We LOVED it! You will too, and it is worth everything it takes you to get there. Trust us: you will leave inspired, refreshed, and a part of your heart will become owned by this incredible place. Don't spend your life in a city... get out there!
