Handicap Accessible, Hospitality Expectable: Mt. Lake 203 is an ideal unit for those in your party with limited mobility. Its heated garage entrance and private elevator, large door ways and one level layout afford access for walkers or wheelchairs. Both the master and second bedroom have large, walk-in showers. In addition, the three decks allow those with limited mobility to still enjoy the great outdoors. This past summer/fall season bear, bald eagles and bull moose have been viewed from our decks!

We fell in love with Montana in 1997 on a trip to Yellowstone. We still find it hard to believe a place like this still exists in the lower 48, where you can hike all day and never see another soul, ski rather than wait in a lift line during Spring Break and find adventure around every turn.

We have three grown children and find that the best way to connect with them is when we are in Montana, away from our usual schedules and engrossed in all the fun and adventure Big Sky offers.

Our home reflects our personal values--to strive for excellence, extend warm hospitality and treat the surroundings with care. We look for guests who share this same outlook.

This is our second property to own in the Big Sky area. We started out with a small 2 bedroom ski in ski out cabin--but it was way too small for our family. Having been in the Big Sky area for over a decade, we were very particular in our search for the perfect property. This condo exceeds what we set out to find.

We wondered if we would miss the convenience of 'ski in/ski out' but discovered this beat what we had by far--we actually had a ski out/hike back in which took a good while to traverse to where we wanted to actually ski--on cold days, this was miserable. Now we get in our warm car in the heated garage, drive to the parking in front of the lift and go play!

The unique, personally owned 6 unit luxury development, the spacious and secure heated garage with private elevator and the fabulous 3 bedroom on suite unit provide the backdrop for a vacation that feels more like a spa than just another place to lay your head.

With ten foot ceilings, dining seating for 14 and a Grand Room that boasts a 10X14 Persian Rug, you'll spend your time enjoying each others company and not tripping over suitcases.

THE PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IN BIG SKY!

I have rented many homes and condos in the Big Sky area, but NONE compare to this gorgeous condo! My husband and I spent a week in this condo, and it was an incredible experience. Each room is beautifully furnished and we felt very "at home" here. The kitchen is well-stocked with high quality cookware! We really enjoyed making waffles in the Belgium waffle maker! Shirley, the owner, was wonderful to deal with. She was very organized and answered all of our questions. The location of the condo is perfect. The view out of the master bedroom is to-die for! The sun shining off Lone Peak greets you every morning as a fun-filled day in the mountains awaits. We hiked, went fly-fishing, and saw many animals (moose, elk, fox, mule deer, etc!) The condo is only a few miles from town, which makes it easy to enjoy a delicious Blue Moon Bakery pizza after a long day of hiking!
You don't need to look any farther for a perfect place to stay in Big Sky! This is it! Cozy, comfortable, and convenient.

AMAZING LOCATION AND PROPERTY - UNFORTUNATE TERMS

As the four of us arrived for our ski vacation, we could not have been more impressed! What a wonderful place and location and it is true when they say the pictures do not do it justice.
Unfortunately, upon stripping all sheets from beds as requested, the terms of our stay were somewhat defaulted as I was informed we had extra people staying with us (false).
When speaking to Shirley on the phone, I informed her (in all honesty) a friend had spent the night after dinner and one passed through late one evening for a brief period. This somehow has lead to a withhold on part of my security deposit per her "prerogative". I guess our party was not "allowed" to serve dinner or be good, caring people. I now feel as though we were monitored, spied on by the fireplace repair man and treated poorly. The four of us looked forward to returning but sadly, will not be.
As seasoned and frequent travelers, none of us have ever had an issue such as this,
Be wary of being an honest person, I guess.

Owner's Response: With regret we accept this review from Melissa who admits she had more guests than she requested spending the night at the condo. Both our quote for rental, (which was a reduced rate due to the smaller group size) and the rental agreement that she signed indicate a party of four. “MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of overnight guests is limited to the number quoted in the reservation. Additional persons added may incur an additional charge.” Rental agreement, signed October 1, 2013
Our insurance policy requires only persons authorized to use our property, as our liability coverage only extends to these. The condominium features a swimming pool, game room and work out facility—elements which carry a greater amount of risk. For safe practice, we maintain a policy regarding unauthorized occupants and also, when made aware of its violation, to enforce it. Should Melissa have sent me an email or text indicating her desire to have additional people spend nights, we would have warmly accommodated her request. We only discovered this later from maintenance personnel. Our withholding of $100 for her noncompliance with the rental agreement is a reasonable response to protect our property for the benefit of future guests.

BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED & VERY COMFORTABLE!

Our family of 5 recently stayed in this condo for a ski vacation. The owner, Shirley, was great to work with. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the space of the great room & kitchen. The furnishings are of very nice quality and allowed our family to spread out in great comfort. The decor throughout the condo is really nice for that matter! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with herbs, condiments and other basic needs. The beds were comfortable and the linens, very nice too. Another aspect that we liked was the large vestibule right off the elevator. It is a space dedicated to this unit and it is where we could conveniently keep our boots and skis and had a wide bench to sit on. We only encountered one minor problem, and I mention it because Shirley took care of it promptly, which is important to know when renting by owner.

Our view of Lone Peak was wonderful too....what a beautiful mountain.

In summary, I highly recommend this very nice condo.

BREATHTAKING VIEWS INSIDE AND OUT!

This place is breathtaking. The views from the deck and hot tub are amazing. Even more so, the inside is simply stunning as no detail was overlooked to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Space was ample. Beds and linens comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked. Indoor parking made it a breeze for those snowy days. And to top it off, the mountain is within a 2min drive or shuttle. The owner, Shirley, is a pleasure to deal with and provides you with answers to all of your concerns/questions. You will not be disappointed with any part of your trip if you stay here. Simply an amaizing stay.

AMAZING FAMILY VACATION

We stayed at this amazing vacation rental for 4 nights/5days for a family ski trip during March. Every step of the process with the owner was enjoyable. She was extremely responsive to my emails and shared a wealth of information with us to ensure we had the best ski vacation for our family. There were just three of us, myself, husband and 5 yr. old son. We enjoyed the impeccably maintained condo so much, it was hard to leave to go skiing. The views are hard to capture with words as they are breathtaking from the living room, master bedroom and hot tub. The furnishings, appliances and ambiance of the condo are luxury and cozy at the same time. Accessibility to skiing was easy. We now can't imagine staying anywhere else. Not only because of the skiing in Big Sky, but because this vacation rental is perfect! We cannot wait to return. Thank you Shirley for sharing your home with us.
