A special oceanfront property in quiet Ormond-by-the-Sea. This two bedroom, two bath END unit was remodeled with new tile and wood floors, paint, cabinets and appliances. It has a sweeping panorama of the Atlantic with dramatic views from almost every room. Large side windows and two separate sliding doors let you look down the non-drive, undeveloped beach, rare for a first floor unit. And being on the first floor on the end gives you the feeling of being in your own oceanfront cottage, yet with all the amenities of a well-kept, beautifully landscaped 33-unit Condo complex. King and queen bed, plus twin sleeper sofa and high quality Aerobed, all with linens and blankets. Free wireless internet access. We accept Credit Cards for deposits and payments! The condo is really relaxing and quiet, yet very close to everything in Daytona Beach and Ormond. Several excellent golf courses within a half hour drive. Right on the 34-mile Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail. Great area for biking..see below!

WHALES!: Whale sightings from the condo! See http://staugustine.com/stories/020509/news_020509_035.shtml 'Two whales turned and headed east, then came back into shore at Highbridge Road and put on quite a show very close to shore. The two drifted south through Ormond-By-The-Sea for the rest of the afternoon, remaining inshore and very visible.'

Near Bulow Plantation Ruins, Graham Swamp Mountain Bike Trail, Rails to Trails, and road bike trails. The condo is right on the 34-mile Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail, named one of the top 50 scenic trails in the US. (http://www.ormondscenicloopandtrail.com/). It is also on the St. Johns River-to-Sea Loop (http://www.visitflorida.com/trails/profile/tid.12245) There is an indoor spot to lock your bikes right next to your door. The condo is steps to a quiet beach and lovely pool, yet 10 minutes away from Daytona Beach, one of the most famous beaches in the world, and home to the Daytona International Speedway and the LPGA. Great charter fishing, golf, and casino cruises. For the kids, the newly opened Daytona Lagoon is conveniently located at Oceanwalk Village and has Grand Prix Go-Kart Racing, Mini-Golf, an awesome arcade, Lazer Tag, and more. Also close to restaurants, grocery store, movies, bowling and a roller skate/roller blade rink. Drive 1.5 hours to area attractions such as Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios and the Kennedy Space Center.

Sunny Beach was a wonderful getaway - close to the beach and nicely furnished. Dawn and Becky went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect and answered all our questions about where to eat and sights to see - making us feel right at home. Sunny Beach was well maintained and we especially liked being able to walk right out the patio and be just a few steps from the beach.

Nice unit... needs a little updating

Replaced kitchen strainer because the old one would not hold water. Keys for entry hard to operate. Needs some attention to the lock. LR rug needs replacing soon. Owners really supplied all amenities... it was well supplied. We hope to return in the future. Thank you and God bless.

Had a wonderful time. Condo very reasonably priced and very accommodating. We visited the manatees at Blue Springs State Park and historic St. Augustine. Local restaurants were great. Good food and very friendly people. It is five minutes from our son and his family. We will definitely consider renting again. We actually liked the ground floor, corner location. We had a patio rather than a balcony.

This was our first time renting a condo and we were a bit worried it would not be as described. It was exactly as described. Place was clean and had everything we needed for our week stay.

It is in a quiet area and the beach is just steps away.

Condo was exactly as described and very well maintained. Our family had a wonderful time, the pool was very clean and blue and the walkway to the ocean was just across the street.

I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to have a wonderful experience and great getaway. Ormond by the Sea is a very relaxing easy going town and all the tourism you would want is a short 10 minute drive to Daytona Beach.
