Manuel Antonio Vacation Rental villa

I spent days searching for the perfect place to stay for our 3+ weeks in Costa Rica. My time was well spent as I discovered the Villita LunaTica and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Particularly, when we checked out a couple of the places we considered, we knew how very lucky we were to find the Villita. Upon arriving, the fragrance of the ylang ylang tree greeted us. Thomas, the very personable and capable manager who had guided us there, explained the scent is the very one used in Chanel No. 5. The Villita is surrounded by a beautiful hibiscus hedge with coconut palms interspersed. Don't miss the calabash tree located outside the kitchen window! The hummingbirds visit constantly and many other beautiful birds. Our alarm clock was a howler monkey and during the day we often saw white-faced capuchin monkeys as near as our roof and the surrounding palm trees. It is very private and lovely. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom has a nice, warm shower, the bedroom is large and the open concept in the living-dining area lends to an overall feeling of spaciousness. We chose to cook most of our meals at "home", buying fresh mahi mahi from the Martec Fish Market by the bus station in Quepos. However, there are several very popular restaurants a few steps away, if you choose to eat out. Manuel Antonio National Park with its animals, beautiful beaches and hiking trails is a short drive away as are a number of other beaches. We took day trips to Mt. Chirripo, Ballena National Park and Puntarenas. The Villita is very well situated for these adventures away from Manuel Antonio due to the much improved highways. Property owner, Ralf Huck, is excellent to work with, Thomas, the manager, is very knowledgeable about the area and does an excellent job of responding to any need or question. Erwin, the gardner has created an Eden and Xenia, the housekeeper is like a good fairy visiting often with fresh linens. We highly recomment the Villita LunaTica!
