This cottage was built in 2008, but don't be fooled! While it boasts modern conveniences, it is a true old-style cape with sloped ceilings, cozy nooks, wood floors, and a breezy paneled porch. There are spectacular views of the Straits & the Mackinac Bridge from every room. Watch the freighters and take in the sites from two spacious decks off the main floor and a private balcony off the upstairs master bedroom. Each bedroom features an adjoining bath. A glass-railed loft (with a Murphy bed) overlooks the great room and the Straits. Other amenities include an inglenook with fireplace, gourmet kitchen with island, heated travertine floors, laundry, central air, & a stone walkway to the lakefront fire ring. This cottage is on a secluded lot with 100' of lake frontage. However, it is within the St. Ignace city limits, affording guests with the convenience of nearby shops, restaurants, and the Mackinac Island ferry. Let your cares slip away in this traditional Great Lakes cottage.
