Apartment, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-7)

Isadora is a large family apartment of 1620 square feet located in the famous rue Jacob, between quai Voltaire and boulevard St. Germain.

Isadora is located on the third floor of a renovated 17th century building, with paved courtyard surrounded by plants. Its southern exposure makes it a full-of-light place. Its internal decoration is a delicate blend of conservative and modern styles.

The master bedroom, two additional large bedrooms and two modern bathrooms are connected to the living room by a book-shelved corridor.

The private entrance hall separates the living room from the dining-room which is next to a fully equipped state-of-the-art kitchen in oak and grey slates, followed by a laundry room with an independent entrance. The apartment layout clearly separates private and living quarters.

Isadora makes you instantly feel 'at home - away from home'.

Fantastic location and apartment

We enjoyed our stay, it was a combination of work and fun. The apartment was in a great location for visiting Paris. We were able to visit everything by walking. The neighborhood was safe and pleasant. Wonderful places to eat and drink. A lovely market just down the street. The apartment was as advertised. It was spacious, clean and my only complaint is no paper products (toilet paper). They did povide 2 rolls. Having international free phone calls and Internet was very useful given the Boston occurance. Highly recommend even being on the 3rd floor with no lift.

Great Location, Great Appartment

This was a great appartment located in a perfect spot. You have everything you need within blocks of this place, yet it isn't on a noisy street that will keep you up all night. The staff meet us right on time and was very helpful throughout our entire stay. If you are looking for a place in the heart of Paris, this is the spot!

Beautiful apartment in wonderful location

Our family (2 adults and 3 young children) had an amazing time in Paris. Our stay in the apartment was just what we needed, spacious, comfortable and relaxing after our busy days out. The apartment was more spacious than the photos depict. The location is great- walking distance to so many attractions. We would definitely stay here again on a return visit.

There is no air conditioning

The apartment is clean, and in great location, but I give it a one star because their VRBO ad is dishonest and their behavior troublesome! Two problems:

1. The VRBO ad clearly states that the apartment has mobile air conditioning (as of this post it still does!). There is no air conditioning. A couple days before arrival, we e-mailed to confirm various items and mentioned the air conditioning. We received a reply stating that there is no air conditioning - there had been - but not anymore. There are fans. Too late to back out. We were there for 11 nights in June. 2 nights were HOT as in 90+ degrees. We NEVER rent a flat in Paris in the summer without air conditioning. We didn't appreciate two very hot nights. The flat is on the top floor - and stuffy - the location is terrific, but too noisy to open the windows, even as late as two in the morning. If the weather had not broken we would have had to go to a hotel.

2. While there, we received an e-mail telling us - not asking - telling us - that they would be using our flat to do laundry for another flat that needed to have linens washed and would arrive at 10 the next morning. We said NO. They backed off immediately - but what the heck. There was never a mention that the washer and dryer would be used by others. This is an expensive apartment, not a youth hostel. What if we hadn't checked our e-mail that afternoon? Were they just going to tromp in the next morning and wake us up? (Who gets up early in Paris in the summer? - dinner isn't until 10 at night!)

Apartment itself - nice and clean (and hot), kitchen is great, all appliances are great, but we will never stay there again.
