Great time!

  • 4 of 5
This property was PERFECT for a girl's wine weekend getaway! We had a nice dinner at Dawn Ranch, a wine tasting @ Korbel and little shopping. We also got to feed/pet sheep & llamas in the adjacent field. We didn't get a chance to get down to the river, but the house has a nice little pool, hot tub & sauna. We only had 2 nights to spend here, but we all would have loved to stay for another 2 MORE nights at least! 4-5 days would give you time to see and do more in his nice River town!

Great getaway spot

  • 5 of 5
Absolutely perfect for a group of 4-6 (2-3 couples). We ended up not even leaving the place for a few days - cooking on the grill, hanging by the pool and relaxing on the deck.

Note, there is noise from River Road being nearby but, we got used to it pretty quickly.

Lovely cabin in the heart of wine country

  • 4 of 5
We had a wonderful stay in wine country. The cabin is well furnished and spacious. The home construction is old, so heating takes a bit time. It's conveniently located close to the attractions and Healdsburg is a short 20 minute drive away. The farm is an added bonus especially for children. Would definitely recommend and return.

relaxing yet romantic

  • 5 of 5
It was not just a relaxing place but w made it into our private and romantic getaway. I'm sure that because of it's size it is used more by families but it aught my eye and I'm glad it did. It was only my fiancé and myself so out of 3 bedrooms we only used the master but al 3 rooms where nice size. The master had a nice romantic fireplace that of coarse we did not use because it was warm when we stayed so we used the air conditioner that is in the master bedroom window. There is access to the backyard from the master bedroom as well as the screen room and the yard is completely fenced in and private. The small pool is just on the other side of a gate outside the master bedroom and although we did not take advantage of heating the pool for a small fee I loved it but my fiancé is a wimp when it comes to the temp of water he will go in so he took full advantage of the hot tub and sauna. There is a Safeway Grocery store just down the street s you can e all the food you will need for the BBQ in the yard or the fully equipped kitchen in the house to prepare all of your meals. Besides the grocery store there are also some nice little shops located just down the street and every one is friendly. I will say that my favorite shop had to be the candy shop since I have a sweet tooth. I also have a soft spot for animals and was able to meet Donna the [property owner just across the street from the property where she has lamas and sheep and with her we where able to feed them. I have to say that Donna was very friendly and out going and she taught me a few things about lamas for example she only has them to keep her sheep safe from coyotes because lamas do not like dogs they will chase them away and there for keep the sheep safe from becoming some coyotes meal. The property was every thing it said in the description and more. Another good thing was we received are full deposit back with in 5 days of are leaving the property. With that being said I am going to recommend it to people I know as well as the people reading this review. It is pet friendly as well as family friendly or if you are like us and just need a low pace couples retreat. One last thing just down the street past the lamas and sheep is access to the river we even took a picnic lunch and walked down to the river and ate it was all great fun. We do plan on going back again and taking the children a 4 year old and a 16 year old so there is something here for all ages obviously.

Very accurately titled.

Our stay at the Russian River Paradise was incredible. Absolutely perfect for our group. We were eight women looking for a classy place to celebrate a bachelorette party and the house was the perfect fit for us.

Donna accommodated us to get into the house two hours early on Friday. This enabled us to make a late lunch and some cocktails while we enjoyed the pool, BOTH decks, and many other outdoor amenities (lounge chairs, hammock, fully stocked grill, hot tub!). There was ample seating for all of us.

For our dinner that night, we were in optimal position to make our way to the funky town of Guerneville where we easily made friends and enjoyed a few bottles of wine at Whitetail Wine Bar. Our dinner was then 20 minutes away in Graton, which ended up being an easy 15-minute drive back to the Paradise at the end of the night. Once back home, each of us had plenty of space to shower up (THREE showers makes for quite the convenience) and sleep, as the house has beds to fit eight people perfectly. (The couches are incredibly comfortable too, might I add!)

The next morning we got ready and walked 10 minutes to our first winery of the day, Korbel winery. Having the house so close to the infamous champagne maker makes for an obvious first stop to any winery tour day: the champagne was delicious. We also took advantage of Korbel's deli to buy mimosas for $6.

We returned many hours later (via limo) in time for dinner. The exceptionally well-equipped kitchen allowed us to make fish tacos, homemade dip and elaborate cocktails. The kitchen also had the standard cooking/baking staples (we added vanilla to the collection). The only this missing for us was a martini shaker but we easily improvised.

Our next morning involved a lavish breakfast for the eight of us and tidying up.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Its location, its accessibility, its endless amenities (wifi, fully-stocked kitchen, pool/hot tub, grill, the list goes on), and all the little touches (did I mention they left specially-made soap for us?!) made for a perfect bachelorette weekend for our group of 26- to-30-year-olds. (Also, did I mention the massive flat-screen TV on which we played Bridesmaids the movie nonstop?)

RENT THIS PLACE!
