ROCKEFELLER 23

We had the opportunity to stay in this beautiful condo for 5 nights. Marilyn, Robert and Chris not only care for their rental units, but they truly care for the renters as well. The owners met us at the condo and walked us through the unit and answered any questions we had. They gave us numerous suggestions/recommendations of things to see and do in the area. The condo was spotless with an incredible view. If you are looking for a beautiful condo in the perfect location this is it.

My husband, 7 month old son and I stayed in this apartment for 10 days this August. We have been to New York on a number of occasions in the past but have always stayed in hotels so this was our first time to stay in an apartment. I must say that initially I was nervous about booking through HomeAway as you always wonder whether or not the apartment will actually live up to the pictures and description that is provided online. Well I have to say that the apartment exceeded our expectations and was exactly as the description and pictures had portrayed. The kitchen was fantastic and meant that we were able to care for our baby easily. There was ample room for him to play on the floor in the living room and also sufficient room in the large bedroom to set up a portable bed for him. I must also point out the the king size bed for us was fantastic and provided a very comfortable sleep after a 20 hour flight from Australia and the apartment provided an amazing view of the Empire State Building. On arriving into New York our flight was delayed and therefore we arrived nearly 2 hours later than expected, this was not a problem for the owners and they were very helpful ensuring that our arrival ran smoothly which as you could imagine travelling with a small child is a huge benefit. Thank you for also being so extremely helpful when we needed to contact you during our stay. The location of the apartment is very central and close to most tourist attractions as well as a small convenience store directly downstairs which is open 24 hours a day. All in all we were very pleased with our stay at Rockefeller 23 and I will definitely be attempting to stay in this apartment on our next trip to New York.

The unit was beautiful and well kept, beautiful views, and great location. However, I had commmunication issues with the owner before, during and after the trip. I had difficulty receiving the refundable deposit back, which took 3 months. Although the place was good, I would not stay in this place again.
