This lovely property features only 8 units. Our penthouse is newly remodeled, has a full time on site gardener, housekeeper and an English/Spanish speaking property manager. The large common area has a patio, pool, and palapas. Located across the street from the ocean front restaurant Villa De La Selva (former presidents villa), walking distance to Las Brisis hotel/beach and approximately 1 mile from central Ixtapa. It is 8 miles from Zihuatanejo and 22 minutes from the airport. This safe and scenic penthouse offers unbelievable views of the ocean and mountains. It is wonderfully peaceful just watching parasailers glide over the ocean from the terrace where a dining table seats six comfortably under a palapa. Fly to sun-drenched Zihuatanejo non-stop from Los Angeles or Dallas.

Notes: The maid service is three days a week/ 3 hours a day. Dalia is her name and she will iron and wash for you along with the general cleaning. If you ask her to cook please do it on overtime and pay her - probably around $4.50/hr. She generally expects a tip at the end of the week. The on site gardener will be happy to carry your luggage up the stairs for a small tip. His name is Rafino and he lives below Casa #2. Filiberto is the Property Manager and he will be sure you get your key and will be happy to answer any questions you have. This is not a large commercial complex and everyone is very friendly. The residents in one of the two homes (#2) are owners from Canada and full time. The renters in condo #3 are from Germany and N.Z. and they are full time as well. There is an enclosed circular stairway that leads you to the front door. The entry to the stairs has an iron gate which you can lock.

Hertz car rental is at the airport. If you prefer, taxis are available. Las Brisis hotel will allow you use its pools and beach if you patronize them by purchasing lunch. Ixtapa Island is a wonderful place to go. The water taxi takes you across to the island. There are no waves and swimming and snorkeling are great. Equipment may be renter there. Massages are around $25-$30. We like the restaurant Pariso Escondido on the island. Be sure to see the crocodiles in the slough at Playa Linda. There is a public beach entry off the main road in Ixtapa. It parallels the tennis courts at the Barcelo Hotel. That is a favorite swimming and walking beach. Also you will find jet ski rental and parasailing. Carlos and Charlies makes good margaritas. There is an information book in the condo that will tell you about our favorite places.

This is a delightful paradise. Jusr 8 units and not the hotel feel. Beautifully maintained grounds, and every amenity within the condo. Spectacular views from the balcony. We enjoyed kayaking, visiting Ixtapa Island, seeing the fishing village of Zihuatanejo, beaching activities, shopping and the feeling of being in our own home. The service was outstanding. We agreed with the recommendations left in the unit and found them most helpful. Everything went smoothly and we hope to return.
