The Coco Plum Beach Villas are located in Marathon, FL at Mile Marker 54.5. Just 60 minutes from Key West and 60 minutes from Key Largo, we are at the midpoint of the Florida Keys island chain. Locals call home 'The heart of the Keys' for geographic reasons, but also to reflect the old-Keys lifestyle they enjoy among the spectacular fishing, diving, snorkeling and sailing. Sombrero Reef, a federally protected section of North America's only living coral barrier reef, lies just a few miles offshore. Beyond it are the deep blue waters of the Florida Straits, which teem with billfish and tuna in the winter and dolphin fish in the summer. Many of the island's marine activities are situated on Boot Key Harbor, a peaceful tropical cove in the center of the island. The harbor is famous for its sunset views and is home to the City Marina. Food aficionados can enjoy fresh local fish prepared simply or gourmet style, and many of these restaurants are located right on the water.

Perfect Vacation!

Our vacation was absolutely perfect. The condo was very neat and clean. All photo's of the condo were exact representation of what we got. The neighbor's were very nice, and the location was very quiet and peaceful. We're going back again if we can! The owner of the condo even called me one day to make sure everything was fine and that we were enjoying ourselves.
My wife and I are planning another trip next year and we will surely look at this property again in the future.
Activities we did: 1) Eateries were fantastic, favorite places to eat were Castaway, Annette's. 2) Snorkeling by the condo. 3) Snorkeling from a catamaran. 4) Scuba diving with the folks at Tilden's 5) The biplane ride was awesome! Paul is a heck of a comic and the ride was beautiful! Fly Conch Air! It is worth every dollar!
One week wasn't enough. We hit up a different eatery every day, but Castaway we had to go there twice.
Joe, if we can, we'll try to get something lined up for the end of June 2010 as soon as school lets out for our boys.
This was the best vacation we have ever had!

We LOVED our stay at Coco Plum!

My husband and I and three children (ages 10, 7 and 4) spent a week at a condo in Coco Plum and had a wonderful vacation. Marathon Key is a picturesque, quiet place with loads of things to do. The condo we stayed in is very nicely updated with comfortable furnishings, excellent beds and all the things you need for a beach week- a 24/7 view of the ocean, a king bed for the adults and separate room for the kids, a fully stocked kitchen & washer/dryer in the unit. We spent a few days traveling and visiting beaches but decided our favorite spot was right next to the condo. The pool is great-- overlooks the ocean and there's a public beach with no development right next door so we spent mornings at the beach and afternoons at the pool. Can't beat that!
