This fabulous, spacious house is west rear facing onto a wide lake with golf course beyond. Lovely tiled floors throughout the main living area give a cool feeling of space and great room length sliders open out completely onto the spacious lanai. The house has been very well stocked with towels and sheets and the kitchen is one of the features of this property with everything a cook could need to prepare a meal for a larger group of guests. The open plan living area comprises the Great Room, Dining Room, Kitchen and breakfast Nook. The house also offers high speed wireless internet access and great value golf privileges. Outside, the pool is set in a particularly large pool deck and there is also a Jacuzzi. Both offer electric pool heat.

This is a peaceful area in a nice residential community. There are 6 golf courses within Rotonda, 4 of which are part of our 'Golf Scoop' offer. It's a great offer in the winter and a fantastic offer in the summer! There are great wide gulf beaches to the west and if you go south to the island, you will find smaller, Caribbean style beaches. It takes approximately 15 minutes leisurely drive to reach both. Lakeside House has a comprehensive up to date in-house guide full of ideas of beaches to visit, shopping, the best current restaurants, information on the house etc. The rental company also has local office with friendly staff on hand to help should you need them.

GREAT GOLF: There are plenty of golf courses in the area, but Rotonda alone offers 6 courses which can all be enjoyed by guests staying at Lakeside House.

BASEBALL IS BACK!!: Why not enjoy watching the Charlotte Stone Crabs. The minor leagues are the Tampa Bay Rays new Class-A Florida State League affiliate. Enjoy watching one or more games between April 11 2009 and September 06, 2009. For special rates and availability, please call us for more details. If you are visiting Florida earlier, the American League Champion Tampa Bay Rays have their spring training camp at the newly renovated Charlotte Sports Park. The season opens on Wednesday February 25 against the Cincinnati Reds and runs until April 04, 2009.

FABULOUS FISHING: Rotonda is perfectly placed for keen anglers. With the coast and the coastal waterway right on your doorstep, backwater fishing and salt water fishing are available. For a relaxing few hours, there are good fish stocks in the waterway behind the house. If you want to experience a day with Capt Jarrett Lombard who is one of the top local fishing guides, we can arrange this for you. He runs several flats boats and takes up to 3 anglers at a time and can provide up to 4 boats at any one time, catering for parties of up to 12 anglers. The enthusiastic angler may well have seen Capt Lombard on the ESPN channel. He competes nationally in the Oh Boy O'Berto Redfish tournaments and his clients travel thousands of miles to spend a day with him. In 2009, he finished 9th overall after a fantastic season. An absolutely fantastic performance. We can arrange this for you, subject to availability, but we do need to give him plenty of notice prior to your arrival.
