It is also very centrally located, being closed to la Seine, St Germain (Latin quarters district), Place de la Bastille and Place de la Republique. Several subway/bus lines are available throughout the neighborhood, making it very easy to visit other Parisian districts.

The apartment itself was clean and well furnished. The entrance and the stairway leading up to it needed some work . You had to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, so if your traveling with others that might be an issue to consider. However the location was amazing. I'ts close to everything and the metro is just steps away. The beds were very comfortable. Marais is an active location with plenty to do and see. Good restaurants and cafe's are nearby and you absolutely will not need a car. The owner was very friendly and we had no problem getting the key.
