We can honestly say this because the entire house is yours including the use of our state of the art kitchen, dining room, living room and family room, as well as all your bedroom needs. No one else in the North Country has as many bedrooms (9) and bathrooms (8 - some private), and with a total of 23 rooms, you can easily find a quiet moment even with a large group.   • All bathrooms were completely redone with new fixtures, plumbing and electric. Three baths have vintage cast iron tubs, two with stand up shower capability, and are also perfect for a long, relaxing soak. We are currently offering seven full baths with either tub or walk-in showers, and one half bath, for a total of eight. There is virtually no waiting in line. Some baths are in room. No one else in the North Country has a house this accommodating .

Great Family Vacation Spot

This home was wonderful. If your looking for some place that is very modern and spacious this is your getaway spot. We stayed in this home for the weekend with five seperate families and it was so much fun. This house offeres an abundant amount of room and space for everyone. There was a special place for everyone. It had a game room for the teens and a playroom for the kids. This house was so huge you will never feel over crowded. The Hathaway's were so welcoming and they made their residence feel just like home for you. If your a cook and enjoy cooking this kitchen was spectacular. We were able to prepare several huge meals.Outside of the home was even a treat, there was volleyball and a place for us to have a camp fire.This place will be great for anyone who is looking to get a way from city life and just enjoy the simple comforts in a modern enviorment

Easter Family Get-together

What a beautiful home! It was perfect for our Easter get-together! This is our big family holiday since we all have to travel such distances and don't necessarily get together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The house was perfect for our needs with everyone helping out in the big kitchen. There were 15 adults and 5 children (3 infants) and the setup of the house was perfect for our needs. One side of the house was the quieter side and the other side with the game room was not so quiet! Had a wonderful time and everything we needed was there. Thanks again!

Simply Amazing

John and Laurie have made an incredible home-away-from-home here at this house in Stratford. We had a group of 15 and this house was more than sufficient. The kitchen is amazing and an absolute joy to cook in. The photos really don't do this house justice. My friends and I will DEFINITELY be renting this place again!

This home provided a wonderful accommodation for our family as we gathered for a wedding. The kitchen is beautiful and the best I have ever seen in a vacation home. The layout of the house allows for family members to be together or to find alone space. Two first floor bedrooms are very helpful for older persons or those with a disability. The owner of the home is easy to work with and very helpful and kind. There are many activities and attractions available in this area of the North Country and I highly recommend this home for your vacation or gathering.

Company Outing

We had company team building outing with 8 people from around the globe (Philippines,Ireland,Brazil,Australia,Dubai) on March 5/6, and the house was fantastic. We used house as place to stay while learning skiing at the Balsams (40 minute drive from house). The Balsams has $90 package with equipment, ski pass, and 90 minute lesson, which is excellent deal compared to other mountains, and also no crowds to contend with, which makes learning skiing so much more enjoyable.

We used the fabulous kitchen for preparing meals, and everyone had their own comfortable bedroom and bathroom, and the trip was a huge success.
