Located on Bog Rd. in Stratford, NH 03590 Opened in 2009. Great for large families or groups of friends! We truly are your home away from home. We can honestly say this because the entire house is yours including the use of our state of the art kitchen, dining room, living room and family room, as well as all your bedroom needs. No one else in the North Country has as many bedrooms (8) and bathrooms (7 - some private), and with a total of 23 rooms, you can easily find a quiet moment even with a large group. Come for the fall foliage or for the holidays. Have your family reunion here! Wheelchair accessible. Completely renovated and updated Victorian Home in semi-private setting with mountain views on 2 acres. Right off Route 3.   • All bathrooms were completely redone with new fixtures, plumbing and electric. Two baths have vintage cast iron tubs with stand up shower capability, and are also perfect for a long, relaxing soak. We are currently offering six full baths with either tub or walk-in showers, and a half bath, also, for a total of seven. There is virtually no waiting in line. Some baths are in room. Renovations for an eighth bath are almost complete. No one else in the North Country has a house this accommodating .

Great Family Vacation Spot

This home was wonderful. If your looking for some place that is very modern and spacious this is your getaway spot. We stayed in this home for the weekend with five seperate families and it was so much fun. This house offeres an abundant amount of room and space for everyone. There was a special place for everyone. It had a game room for the teens and a playroom for the kids. This house was so huge you will never feel over crowded. The Hathaway's were so welcoming and they made their residence feel just like home for you. If your a cook and enjoy cooking this kitchen was spectacular. We were able to prepare several huge meals.Outside of the home was even a treat, there was volleyball and a place for us to have a camp fire.This place will be great for anyone who is looking to get a way from city life and just enjoy the simple comforts in a modern enviorment

Great home to stay

All of us 15 people are very happy with this wonderful home especially the beautiful kitchen. Everybody is happy with their bedrooms. This vacation in this big house absolutely is very memorable for each of us. We would like to thank John for waiting for us on the first day we arrived at the house and explained everything. Recommended for everyone to rent this place.

Dream vacation for a large group.

Thank you for opening your home away from home to our church family. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasurable location for our Youth Retreat. There was plenty of land in the back yard to play various games. There was so much room inside that we had no problem separating our boys and girls. In fact, it was not unusual to be able to find a quiet place all to yourself even with everybody else inside. There was a peacefulness there that allowed us to truly worship God and help our teenagers get to a place of deeper awareness of themselves. We thank you so much for your hospitality and the candy and we look forward to seeing you again next year! Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

The pictures do not do the house justice. This is definitely a 'you have to see it to believe it' type property. John & Laurie made sure that the house had everything that you might need in case you forgot something. We had plenty of food, but the kids loved the swedish fish that was there. There is a washing machine and dryer on site and having 8 teenagers with thunderstorms every day, allowed us to enjoy playing outside and clean up properly afterwards.
Owner's Response: We were very happy to accommodate Sarah and her group. Not only were they very respectful of our property, but they also did a marvelous job getting the house back in order and maybe even a little better. You might say they left our house "immaculate". We truly thank them for visiting us and look forward to seeing them again in the future.

It was so great vacation!

The amazing place for vacation with beautiful view and great farm not far away. The owner devoted all his energy for the house decoration. It is so nice and so considering for everybody, from 2 years old kid to 70 years old man. We had a great time in this nice building. From BBQ to playing soccer...... We all think about coming back in Fall......
Owner's Response: My wife and I would like to express our gratitude to Sharon, Xin and all their friends and family for being our first guests. We can only hope that all our future guests are as nice they were. After I greeted them on their arrival, they insisted on cooking me dinner before I left to drive back to NJ! Amazing! We are very happy that they all enjoyed our house and look forward to seeing them again sometime in the future.
