VILLA FACILITIES::
Although you will be living in a tropical paradise, you won't be isolated, as Baan Orchid itself has all modern conveniences, including email and wireless Internet access for those who need to keep in touch with the outside world. There is an Apple iPod hi-fi system within the villa, together with TV/DVD and a range of Cd's and DVDs. Baan Orchid offers partial or fully serviced accommodation to suit your requirements. There is a full-time villa manageress who, with her housekeeping staff will help ensure you have a perfect holiday. You will be provided with a Thai mobile phone card so that you can contact her at any time. The experienced villa staff maintain the gardens and pools around the villa and in the communal areas. Should you wish, the villa manageress can organise grocery shopping, or arrange for dishes to be delivered to your villa from the local restaurant. She can also organise tours, leisure activities or taxis.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS::
Baan Orchid is close to many attractions and areas of interest. A 20 minute ride on a traditional Thai long-tail boat will take you to Koh Tan and Koh Mudsum, two neighbouring islands that are well known for their fantastic fishing and snorkeling. Or why not try a safari trek into the jungle and ride an elephant – or have Thai cooking lessons. We can also arrange for you to be picked up and whisked off to the Samui Ridgeway Spa and Retreat for a whole day of pampering. We can even arrange babysitting so you can find time to relax, take time out and enjoy Samui’s wonderful restaurants or spas. The island is home to excellent medical care, with hospitals, clinics, dentists and pharmacies within easy reach. Together with the various health spas, many of them within a short distance of Baan Orchid, all your health care needs can be taken care of.
