Our Stay at Sawgrass

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Sweetgrass. The condo was just as it was shown on Homeaway.com. Very Clean, updated and comfortable furnishings. Thye Beach was a five minute walk or 2 minute drive away.Bruce ( the owner) couldn't be more caring. He made sure we contacted him on our arriuval and answered any questions we had. His list of things to do and places to see were very helpful for us first timers. the location of Sweetgrass on the island worked out in that you can walk to the beach or breakfast and shopping in five minutes. The Freshfield Village shopping area at the entrance to the island has something from everyone, from food shoping to clothes and accessory shopping.The 10 mile long beach is breathtaking and quiet. We were lucky enough to see dolphins swimmimg right off shore.another attraction is that it's only 35 minutes to Charleston a historical city to tour. We would definitely go back to Sweetgrass.

Our stay at Sweetgrass

A wonderful vacation. The condo was great and so was its location. Bruce couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome, everything from making sure we arrived ok to recommending places to dine, visit, rent bikes, shop and just have fun. We golfed, played tennis, did a lot of sightseeing and shopping and just relaxed. Biking on the beach was a blast and the sunsets were beautiful. My wife and I look forward to a return visit and would recommend Sweetgrass to anyone. Thank you Bruce.

Sweetgrass is a wonderful villa!!! The location and access to the beach is perfect. It was everything we were looking for in a place to stay. Bruce was extremely helpful and informative. When our vacation plans take us back to Kiawah we will definitely be staying at Sweetgrass! The villa was impeccable clean!! Absolutely Wonderful!!

Quaint, Convenient, Charming

A friend of 22 years and I try to meet up once a year. This year we chose to not meet at one of our homes but to get away. Sweetgrass was all that it says it is in the description. We enjoyed the convenience of home while we were visiting. The weather was a bit to cold to enjoy the island as we had hoped but still got out for walks, and shopping at Fresh Fields. We also made it to Charleston 2 days of our stay, what an awesome place for history, eating, and relaxing! Bruce was very easy to work with and was kind enough to check in with us upon arrival just to be sure everything was as it should be. We were impressed with how honest, upfront, and prompt Bruce was throughout our experience. I have never written a review before but felt this one needed to be done.

Go here just once!

Sweetgrass villa is a clean, comfortable unit on Kiawah Island, minutes from the beach, a world class golf course, tennis courts and miles and miles of walking/ bike trails. The owner, Bruce was very effecient, the directions for entry into the island and the villa were easy to understand, and everything worked out great. There was quite a bit of traffic in and out of the island, but once you're "home" nothing but peace and quiet awaits you. We were planning on visiting Charleston all four days, but after experiencing the island life, we split our time between the two. You cannot go wrong with this villa or the owners Bruce and Bonnie. First class all the way!
