New Year in New York
Review Submitted: January 19, 2010

We stayed at Chris and Gabriels for 6 nights over New Year 2009/10, and couldn't fault a thing! The Apartment is huge, and has everything you need - I even did some washing, which I never normally do on holiday!
The subway is a just a few minutes walk to several different lines, and basically just round the corner from the Rockefeller Centre, and Times Square. We did a lot of walking in New York, and as the apartment is so central it's easy to get everywhere. We even walked back on New Years eve after doing the Midnight Run in Central Park!
We did eat in a couple of nights - and would recommend the Amish supermarket for some of the best pizzas freshly made as you wait on 9th Avenue, and also the Seven Brothers deli on 9th for bacon and cream cheese breakfast bagels! While on the food subject - best NY cheesecake ever at the food court under Grand Central station!
There are loads of places to eat near the apartment spoilt for choice!
The doormen and concierge are really helpful too - especially when we had a broken suitcase!
Thanks to Chris and Gabriel for a wonderful stay, and as previously mentioned in other reviews, excellent communication throughout! Will definatley look to book again on our next trip to NYC.
Thanks!
