Rapid Creek winds like a blue ribbon down past this beautiful custom home, a robust, luxurious Western home on ten acres of pasture and aspen trees, with the Grand Teton Mountains towering behind. The center of this three bedroom house is one great vaulted room, divided by a massive stone fireplace into living room and dining areas, and by a granite topped breakfast bar from a kitchen which is professionally equipped and has an absolutely spectacular view. Soaring windows throughout the home bring the outdoors in. Elk, deer, and moose often come from the National Forest (1/4 mile away) to visit the creek. This magnificent log home sits in the very heart of ski country. An outdoor deck, BBQ Grill, and Hot Tub enhance your experiences. A horse corral is right outside, a four stall barn is a short walk away through the aspens, and riding and hiking trails into the Jedidiah Smith Wilderness (National Forest) which adjoins Grand Teton Natl. Park, start from the back door.

CHRISTMAS SALE $5000 for DEC 19-26th Rapid Creek Lodge sits in the very heart of ski country, next to the nation's best powder at Grand Targhee Ski & Summer Resort, and is just 45 minutes from both the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort at Teton Village, and the town of Jackson. Local restaurants and nightlife are just 5 minutes away in Driggs. From the house you can snowshoe, crosscountry ski, and snowmobile right onto the national forest! Summer here is magical, a horse corral is right outside, a four stall barn with the on-site caretaker's quarters is a short walk away through the aspens, and riding and hiking trails into the Jedidiah Smith Wilderness (which adjoins Grand Teton National Park) start from the back door. Trailheads into Grand Teton National Park are just a few minutes drive away. Yellowstone National Park is about an hour and a half drive.

Additional information about rental rates

  • *** SPECIAL RATES *** These rates have been reduced by 1/2 for Homeaway Guests
  • Summer of 2008 was $10,000 weekly, these rates have been significantly reduced for HomeAway Guests in 2009 & 2010.

    Additional Nights after one weeks stay may be pro-rated to a daily rate.

    A $1,000.00 (one thousand dollar) security/damage fee will be collected with the rent and returned to the Guest within 30 days of departure.

    The rates include a basic cleaning of the property after departure, not to exceed 8 hours. If the Lodge is left in poor shape, any cleaning after 8 hours will be billed to the guest at $50 per hour and deducted from the security/damage deposit. Mid stay cleanings may be scheduled at an additional charge.

    Payments via US BANK check only.

  • Off the living room is the spacious master suite, with a king sized bed and doors that open to a private deck, hot tub, and the bright mountain air of Wyoming. A dressing room and sumptuous bathroom, finished in tumbled limestone, with jetted tub and shower are part of the master suite. On the opposite side of the first floor is a second bedroom, with a queen sized bed, and a private bathroom. Upstairs, a bridge leads to a loft-like game room with a pool table and large flat screen television. The game room also has 2 double sized futons for additional guests. On the opposite side of the bridge is a lovely third bedroom and private bathroom (this guest room features a king sized bed).
