There is FREE all day/night parking in front of the house! In Lower NYC there are sightseeing buses, city buses and subways to anywhere in all of the five boroughs. There is also the connection to the Statue of Liberty ferry very near to where the Staten Island ferry docks. It is just a quick ride uptown to Grand Central and you can catch the Metro North along the Hudson River Line. Stop and visit quaint Victorian towns, do some antiquing, leaf peeking and explore the village where Hello Dolly was filmed.

My husband and I stayed here for one week and thoroughly enjoyed the apartment. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Robin (the owner) was very helpful in giving us tips to help us navigate Staten Island. We had previously stayed at another apartment late last year so were informed about the wonderful Staten Island Ferry. The last time we were here we needed to drive 25 minutes to the ferry. This apartment is close enough that we walked to the ferry each morning and at night we took the bus which dropped us off right in front of the apartment. There is a $Million$ view from the living room window towards Manhattan. You can even see Lady Liberty! My dream is to come back some day and rent out the entire home for a full month so we can share the experience with our family and friends. If you are traveling to New York, do yourself a favor and stay at this wonderful vacation rental. I'm sure you will be as pleased with your decision as we were.

excellent way to see New York City

This tidy, nice appartment is fit for two or tree people. For one week sightseeing in New York, especially Manhattan this appartment is a good startingpoint. Crossing the Hudson with the Staten Island Ferry is part of this experience: every day another view on the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty et cetera.
The appartment has a nice interior so once you arrive you feel at home immediately. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
Especially when you have a long day programme this appartment makes you relax and sleep well. Mind the partying neighbours in the weekend, so bring your earplugs. Still the location of the appartment is worth it.

OUr family was pleasantly suprised this property was all and more than it presented itself to be. We stayed for a week, four total in our party. We were so happy with everything. Neat, clean, warm and inviting. It always felt so good to come home after running around all day in NYC. We got around on foot, the ferry and the subway and had a fantastic time. We went to a Yankees game in the Bronx, went to see Wicked at the Gershwin, went to the museums, shopping, Little Italy and China town! The property was great and we will be back!! Thank you for everything!!

We are from Santa Fe, New Mexico. We were coming to Manhattan on business/pleasure trip and had to book a week in Manhattan. I swear I looked for a month and a half for a reasonably priced, clean, fresh place that had a warm feeling. I took a look at this property and called the owner. She took the time to explain the area, how to navigate the details of the trip to work for us and that we could be in Manhattan by ferry every half hour, free of charge and be on our way in Manhattan via subway to anywhere we needed to go. I was traveling with my husband and two teen daughters. We arrived to a really charming atmosphere. Professionally decorated, with alot of details considered to make the stay more of a home atmosphere. We walked to the ferry, the market, pizza place, morning donut shop, people were super friendly and Manhattan was amazing. The value of this property for what you recieve is beyond a great deal. I have not stopped talking about our new NYC "hook-up" to all our family and friends. We rented the one bedroom but there is a connecting door to another larger unit to allow for larger parties, so keep that in mind in your considerations. Bring good walking shoes, an unbrella and camera. There is a kitchenette to allow for small meals. We walked to the laundromat, we came home late at night and walked home from the ferry if weather allowed and if not the bus dropped us at the front door. We appreciated the well lit atmosphere outside, and seeing the Statue of Liberty outside the living room window was super cool. The owner was always available, communicated the details in a very clear manner so directions went smoothly, everything in the property was fabulous, I give this property the highest rating and I am a real estate broker. All the attractions are in practical access of this properties location. I just asked my husband was there anyhting you disliked? He said without hesitation..NO, there was NOTHING I did not like. That says it all..we will be back and you should go..you will have a great time and on a reasonable budget. Sincerely, M & S Valdez - Santa Fe, New Mexico
