Cosy cottage with large plot (grassland), private parking, WiFi
Our cottage is in one of the most beautiful parks of North Holland.
We have a large, private plot, with parking right on the property.
The park is secured with a barrier.
Our cottage has a living room, two small bedrooms (master: double bed, children: bunk bed 2.00 x 1.00 m), A kitchenette. Shower and toilet are separated.
In the kitchen is a refrigerator, oven, toaster, dishes and cutlery.
The plot is about 600 m². Before the house is a terrace with table and chairs.
We offer our guests free WiFi via its own connection, about 7 MB (nominal 20 MB).
From our house you can in 20 minutes be at the beach on the edge of dunes is a large (free) parking. You can also walk or bike to the beach. A bicycle rental is about 300 meters from the park.
On the neighboring park is a (sub-tropical) swimming pool, nearby there is a small shop, as well as snack bars and a restaurant.
In the neighboring villages Petten and Schagen there are supermarkets that are open daily.
Nearby is a canoe rental, mini-golf and the world famous reserve Zwanenwater.
And then the beach: Behind the wide dune belt stretches for miles and continuously a wide sandy beach (from Petten to Den Helder). The dunes are ideal for walking, hiking and cycling. For the disabled, it is possible to come to St. Maartenszee and Petten by car to the beach.
In the vicinity you can find pretty little villages, Schagen (9 km) is a pearl and famous for his West Frisian market.
In Alkmaar (20 km) there is the famous cheese market and a beautiful downtown.
Haarlem (54 km) and Amsterdam (60 km) are both world-renowned and versatile.
At the IJsselmeer there are wonderful old towns and villages, and on the way there are many windmills and other gems (some UNESCO World Heritage Site).
To the north of Den Helder (23 km), a port and naval town (take the ferry to the island of Texel). You also have Den Oever, a former fishing village, located at the beginning of the final dike. There is a fish market on Saturdays, and from here you can make excursions Watt (Watt, seals, fishing).
The final dike separates the IJsselmeer from the Wadden Sea and connects North Holland with Dutch Friesland.
