Luxury home with great location

When we travel, we rent homes. This one is a gem! When I looked at google earth, I was concerned about the business directly behind the home/pool. The way the backyard was landscaped by planting every inch, it felt totally private. The businesses do not have any evening traffic and it is only employee parking during the day.
Because of location close to the beach, the living area of this home is all on the second floor. The downstairs is a 2 car garage, full size frig- very handy for drinks by the pool and overflow groceries. All the pool noodles, floats, towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella & cart for taking it to the beach are included on that level.
The upstairs has 12 foot ceilings, beautiful light fixtures, high quality frig, stove, dishwasher and both the stove & microwave offer convection functions. We cook when we travel and this kitchen has all the comforts of home- ample dishes, glass ware, serving bowls, panini press, crockpot, coffee grinder -- all nice quality. We did buy (& left for future guests) reusable plastic glasses. We want no breakables by the pool.
The picture of the master bath does not do justice. The bath consists of the dual sinks you see, the toilet in its own pocket door room, plus a shower that has a rain style head, six body jets, plus the option of a hand held shower head. Remember 12 foot ceilings & you can put your arms out to your side all around-big. Our family took some long showers. The whole area is tiled, with details that show the thought put in it.
We walked everywhere, with 2 school aged kids as well as 2 grandparents. If you rent further down the beach, you'll pay $5 to $10 to park in this area! Walk to Heavenly Biscuit (buy biscuits & make homemade sausage gravy). Beached Whale for happy hour on the top deck, nice staff, good views and half price mussels. Esterra Spa across the street & down one block is in a nice condo/resort & we had a good experience there. They offer nice 'Princess' mani/pedi options for younger girls & my 10 year old loved it. Do avoid Lani Kai roof top restaurant. We stopped on our walk back from the down town & sat outside. The view is great but when we saw a large cockroach, the waitress got a broom to kill it & said they are everywhere. Go for the view & canned drinks only.
The owner lives in the area & was very helpful when we called, many times it is just a property management firm that does the renting. Another plus for this high end home in a great location!
