Thank you for your interest in renting our cabin! I hope we have everything to offer that your looking for. The cabin was built intending to look and feel like a cabin, not a house full of sheetrock! The cabin and property was designed to accommodate many people…creating good times…and good memories…that’s what this place is all about!
We chose this location for many reasons. First, the property is awesome! Lot's of privacy, lot's of parking, and plenty of usable land. Also, we liked the idea of being in a secured gated area for security, safety, and even more privacy. Secondly, we preferred Ronald as it's a little farther out, and closer to snowmobiling, dirt biking, hiking, and to Lake Cle Elum. You really feel like you're "out in the woods" while here!
There has been a lot of thought and effort put into making your visit here an enjoyable one. I have rented many cabins in the area over the years and always seems disappointed about a variety of issues. You'll notice lots of little things during your stay that makes a big difference!
It always takes one person to call the weekend, and to step-up and book the place! Don't worry, your friends and family will show!!
Our extended family recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crest Lodge for our 25th annual Welcome to Winter celebration. We could not have picked a better location for the price! The Crest was just far enough removed from the hustle and bustle of the Seattle area, and yet not too far from groceries and a bit of small town charm. Quiet surroundings amongst the trees, the lodge is warm and nicely outfitted with all the things you'd need for a large family gathering or a couple's weekend away!
We were all really impressed with the house and all the fine details provided. the owners have really done out of their way to make sure you have everything you need during your stay. everyone thought the house and grounds were awesome. I've stayed in other homes/cabins and they were nothing compared to this. The owners really care about quality.
This lodge is beautiful decorated and seems like you truly out in the woods away from everyone. We held a work retreat here and everyone loved it. The owner is wonderful to work with. We hope to return again and would love to hold family events here as well. The lodge offers just about everything you could want in a vacation/retreat.
Crest lodge is the perfect place for our large family annual gathering. It's appointed with just about everything needed for cooking and drinks. The hot tub is a big hit with my family including kids and adults. The upstairs game room is great for the kids to hang out and has a huge TV with a nice bar to serve food and drinks. While there was no snow for the kids to play in this year they as well as parents explored the area, played horseshoes and had a great outdoor campfire.
We had a family getaway at the cabin and found it to be very spacious, nicely built and the decor was perfect. The beds weren't the greatest but usuable. We enjoyed sledding in the yard and liked not being able to see the neighbors. We came in January so expected snowy roads. The problem came when we went to leave. It had melted some and then snowed some on top and was solid ice underneath. Our four-wheel drive vehicles could not drive up the driveway without a lot of difficulty and we are used to driving in snow. We tried calling the phone number posted at the cabin for snow removal but found they would not come up there. We called the owner who said they would not plow unless there was at least 3 inches of snow and basically said we were on our own. It took us 2 hours to get eveyone out which included digging out of a ditch and everyone having to push vehicles all the way up the hill. So be prepared if you go there in the winter. Chains would be advised.
This is the 4th year for the Fleming family Christmas, and we could not have found a better place to spend with our family. The lodge is equipped with everything you need and more - very spacious and lots of room. What a wonderful place to all meet and spend time together under one roof. We enjoyed playing in the snow, sledding and a visit from Santa. Thank you for another great get together at the lodge! -The Flemings
