Water sports available include sailing, kayaking, snorkeling and windsurfing. You are minutes away from American Yacht Harbor and Sapphire Resort Marina where you can arrange for many adventures including World Class deep sea fishing, dive trips, day and sunset sails and charter boat rentals. Cowpet Bay is the home of Roberts, one of the best restaurants on the Island, where Freddy and other great piano players entertain nightly in the lounge. Also on the beach is Ainsley's where you can get lighter fare and listen to Andrew play the steel pan. If you want to venture out you can go to Red Hook where there are numerous restaurants, shops and ferries to neighboring islands. Low key or party to 4 a.m., the options are all here. SMALLER? Cowpet Bay is one of several bays on the East End of St. Thomas, all which have great beaches, boating, restaurants, swimming and relaxing'. Several nearby marinas have world class deep sea fishing, diving, day sailing and boat rentals. A day on the water with a stop at the Soggy Dollar Bar on Josh Van Dyke is something you will always remember. We went out on 1/2 day trip with Double Header last winter and got a 6 foot sail fish on the south drop. The great shopping at Mongoose Junction, the wonderful beaches in the National Park and the hiking trails make St. John a must see on your vacation. An Island Tour on both St. Thomas and St. John is a great way to get to know the islands.

Great Vacation Spot and Condo!!!!

My wife, two teenage daughters and I had a wonderful time at St. Thomas recently. The unit that we rented was perfect, overlooking the pool and approximately a 30 second walk to the beach!! The two King size beds were comfortable and the unit was well maintained and roomy.

We rented a car and had an easy time getting to all parts of the island and took the car ferry to St.John for a "Snuba "adverture!! Robert's and Ainsley's were just steps away from our beach chairs (provided) to get great drinks and food, especially the pizza!

The customer service was EXCELLENT!!! Pamela made our trip flawless, even when the airlines set us back a day, she made it work. We were provided great directions and always received quick replies to phone calls and emails. When we discovered that the blender could not be found, Pamela had one to us with in a couple of hours. Now that is service!!!

Do yourself a favor and stay here.

Great week in Cowpet

We spent a week in this condo and it was perfect for our needs/wants. First, the location - Cowpet is a very scenic, quiet bay with enough beach activity to keep it interesting, but not too much to overwhelm those looking for a relaxing time on the beach. Access to the pool, Roberts restaurant, the casual restaurant on the beach (try the pizza!) and the full service fitness center was very convenient.

The condo itself is clean, well-maintained and well-equipped. The pictures on the web-site are accurate, including the view from the porch which looks out over the pool and into the bay. We got great directions from the rental agent, otherwise I'm not sure we would have made it with the directions/map the rental car company provided.

For those that are not huge snorkelers, I would recommend a trip on New Horizons which can be booked right at the recreation center at the Cowpet Bay beach. It is a trip to a number of British Virgin Islands in a powerboat.

Overall, a great stay - I would definitely come back to this condo again!
