This modern ranch home is 30 feet from water! Walk or swim in right outside your living room door. The home is over 2000 square feet. Large expansive living/Great Room with grand views of the ocean will amaze you. The Master bedroom is nearly 400 square feet and has direct views of the water. The guest rooms are nicely appointed; one with a Queen and the other has 2 twin beds. You will love cooking in the kitchen with direct views of the water. High speed wireless free long distance. The location of the beachfront home is ideal. You are 1 block from 'Bean Point' the most Northern end of the island. The north side of the island has NO condos! All private homes in this quiet and elegant side of the island will ensure your vacation is both relaxing and refreshing. Great Vacation Experience!

This was our first trip to Anna Maria and we are already planning our trip back for next year! We have traveled to Hawaii, East Coast, San Francisco, Colorado, Virgin Islands and the Caribbean & Anna Maria is all of these places & more!! The house is all that the pictures show & John was very helpful in answering any of our questions. We would recomend this house and island paradise to anyone so if your not sure this is a definite YES!!! Loved all the restaurants and shops in town, very unique. John we will be back next summer, thanks again for sharing your home with us. We left a few beach towels & some goggles behind for the next visitors. Enjoy!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

while there in february 2011 we booked for february 2012, our 4th february in a row.
decent place, greatest view, manageable problems. repaint & sprucing this year helps.
more should be made of the fact that the 2nd bedroom can be private with the 2nd bathroom.
anna maria town is the best spot on a great island, anna maria island.
walk-to restaurants, beaches, bars.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

Wonderfully Relaxing vacation home

Thank you for allowing us to use your home for our families vacation. The home was spacious and comfortable. The veiws from the patio & livingroom spectacular. The entire family enjoyed watching the dolphins, pelicans, and other wildlife while we soaked up the warm sunshine. It was difficult to leave and return to the cold new england winter. Thank you also for the personal attention to the details of our visit.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Great working with you. I really think people are surprised by the amount and the variety of wildlife and sea-life on this side of the island. I'm happy you and your family had a great time. The weather in March has been wonderful!

Great place, just a hop, skip and a jump to a fishing pier with food. Nice frontage to sit and chill out with your favorite cocktail. Short bike or motor scooter ride to the best beaches I've ever been on.

If your a snow climate person try this place and become a BEACH PERSON for a week !!!

Enjoy the moments.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Thanks for your response. The beaches here are some of the best in all of Florida. The beach just north of the house is world class. The best part about this part of the island as it relates to beaches is the lack of people. Since there is no public parking near the northern part of the island, there aren't the MOBS you see in Bradenton Beach and even Holmes Beach. Very unique!

Wonderful view, very nice place

We loved our stay in this house. We had everything we needed, and the rental company was first rate. John gave me a great deal, better than the rental company. This place was right on the water, we could not have asked for anything better.
Owner's Response: Thanks for your post...If I gave you a lower price than the rental company that was MY FAULT! The price from both of us should always be the same. The rental company does a great job handling the reservations for us. But ..I am happy you enjoyed the home and enjoyed your stay. You were a great guest as well and left the house in fine condition.
