By car you are a 10 minute drive from the city center or 30 minutes until you are in the North Shore mountains for skiing, hiking, tubing, and mountain biking or the oceanside for kayaking, sailing and beach combing.

The Sweetest Suite!!

All we can say is wow!! Our experience in this lovely suite was amazing! Our hosts, Teri and Gary made us feel like family and offered us more than we could have hoped for. We stayed in the suite for almost two months with our 1.5 year old and I was also pregnant at the time. Actually I had my baby while we were in Vancouver and brought our new little bundle back to the suite. Honestly I wouldn't have felt comfortable anywhere else. The suite itself is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need including a big tub, dishwasher and laundry facilities if necessary. There is also a beautiful little patio space just outside the door that we enjoyed when the weather was nice. The location is ideal as it's so close to Trout Lake, Commercial Drive and all major public transportation routes. We would highly recommend this suite and would love to stay there again!! Quiet and Great Location

Our stay in the Garden Suite was excellent. We chose the suite for the location, but found that it offered much more - all we needed. The street is very quiet and peaceful in the evening so our sleep was very restful. The suite was very clean, with modern appliances and comfortable beds. There was lots of room to cook meals with all the utensils needs there. We had an easy walk to Commercial Drive where there are plenty of good restaurants and markets. We also walked daily to Trout Lake and enjoyed the Central Valley Greenway walking paths there and easy access to the skytrain. Gary and Teri are very friendly and lovely hosts.

Cosy Family-friendly Home away from home

We needed a place to live between selling and moving into our new house. They treated us like family; allowing us to store some belongings in storage and making sure we had every comfort possible. This suite had tons of light, was very warm, and spacious. The neighborhood has tons of value restaurants, live music cafes, chic boutiques, and families hanging-out in the parks.

Very quiet, very comfy place on The Drive.

I have stayed at Teri and Gary's garden suite on three different occasions and each time it has been a very pleasant experience. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here. Not only is the apartment very comfortable and well appointed but Teri and Gary have always been very helpful and accommodating.

In case you're not familiar with Vancouver, Commercial Drive is an area full of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, etc. and only 10 - 15 minutes from downtown.

Cosy Garden Suite

We returned for our fourth visit to the Garden Suite and found it just as inviting as our previous visits. We really appreciate the extra touches: a welcoming basket of fruit, wine and chocolates, an umbrella for the November rains, spices, coffee, and start up paper products, etc. Teri and Gary are great hosts and constantly upgrade the suite to meet visitor's requests and needs. This time we found a security system installed, new carpets, and new original art work. If you are looking for a quiet, clean, nicely decorated suite, at a reasonable cost the garden suite is just perfect.

Two great months

A perfect home away from home in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, only blocks away from the trendy Commercial drive area, full of good restaurants and interesting shopping. The suite is clean, quiet, feels brand new, and is tastefully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with all of the appliances, cooking utensils and towels you could ever need...no need to being anything from home except your clothes and a sense of adventure for exploring all of the nature that surrounds the lovely city of Vancouver. We were there for Jan/Feb and it felt like spring. The garden is lovely and we watched the crocuses and tulips come up. All this and only 1.5 hours drive to the best skiing in North America. Teri and Gary are excellent hosts and will ensure your stay is a total pleasure. Highly recommended.
