Three bedrooms, full sized eat in kitchen with all new appliances, Dining room, stone fire place in living room. Loft has queen sized sleeper sofa and 2 double bed. Designer decorated/ Private beach and dock where you can swim in a sandy bottom lake, fish, directly in front of this chalet.Wrap around deck and three boats are included in this rental. Community Center with large amount of activities..Outsood and indoor pools, tennis courts, basketball courts.

Our home is surrounded by 3 exciting ski mountains that are within 15 miles of our home, snow tubing, cross country and ice skating.

Comfortable and Relaxing

Perhaps there were issues previously, but I think the owners listened and responded. We found the home to be clean and airy. The linens were fresh as was the entire house. I, as well as, my husband and 3 children had an enjoyable holiday weekend. It could not have been more perfect. The owners were more than willing to accommodate any special needs we had. They even suggested restaurants in the area. We plan to stay here again.

DO NOT RENT THIS HOME.

I rented this house with my husband and other family members the weekend of Sept. 23rd. The homeowners were very difficult to deal with, in some instances didn't even return any of the my calls.
The house was dark and not clean. The outside deck was supposed to be for our use, and it was covered with leaves - not cleaned off for our use. The listing said 3 baths, I guess they consider the upstairs bathroom a full bath-----the sink is in the bedroom. I walked around barefoot for a little bit, and the bottom of my feet were black. When we first went into the home, it smelled "musty". Maybe they should consider a new cleaning lady.
Owner's Response: Yes,These renters were schedule for a previous week when we had the hurricane in Pennsyvania. We sugessted that they reschedule so not to lose out on the rental. I unfortuntely had a business trip planned to be out of the country. This family was aware of the situation and that we would be out of the country.The storm/hurricane was prety devestating.I have many renters who do not feel this way and are repeat renters.The house is cedar and cedar is what they smelled.The home is beautiful and a labor of love for me and my family we love it there and I personaly clean the house after each rental.I am very fussy about our home.

Beautiful location, decent house, not professional owners

We rented this house for Memorial Day weekend with another family. The listing says that it sleeps 10, but that is only if 4 people share two double beds that are side by side in an open loft under a low slanted roof. I would say it would accommodate 8 at most. The community and amenities it provides are beautiful but the house itself was much smaller than the pictures imply. The wrap around deck was by far the best part of the rental and we were very fortunate that the weather was nice so that we could spend the entire time outside. The dock was not put in the water (as shown in the photos) even though it was a holiday weekend. The worst was that we were charged $100 for some made up "extra cleaning and laundry". We had to rewash half of the sheets provided when we arrived because they were damp and musty. The blankets and pillows were stored in the trunks were also very musty. We did use all the towels and linens provided because we were 10 people, but that is what was listed as appropriate for the house so I don't know what was excessive about it. The owners were not so easy to work with because one person deals with the lease and money while another deals with property logistics (and they don't seem to communicate with each other). We will be returning to Lake Naomi but definitely not to this house.

NOT a 4BR! Dark! Tiny!

The owner of this property completely misrepresents this house. It is NOT a 4BR. It has 2 bedrooms and a sleeping loft that you have to WALK THROUGH to get to the master bedroom. The house is small and dark. You DO NOT WANT TO RENT THIS!
Owner's Response: Please look at our listing..and the pictures we have posted..in addition I sent more pictures to the family..this family was in a rush and not familar with the poconos. We have been renting through Home Away and VRBO for the past 4 years and have not ever had a poor response or anyone who implys that we misrepresent out home..if this person does not like the woody home with cedar they should not have come to the poconos..our home is meticulous the beds are cozy. I spoke to the husband of this family on many occassions and he was very happy and loved the idea of being on the lake and the moutains, his wife (as he shared with us) is from the sunshine state Miami Flordia and does not like the mountains in addition his wife had just lost her job that same week and he appogized for her behavior and the misunderstanding.. Our home is a 3 bedroom home with a sleeping loft...We were very sorry to disapoint this family.
