Spacious Luxury Condo with amenities galore!
This was our (hubby and me) first stay at Palmar Condominiums, my 11th trip to Cozumel (not a Coz Newbie) and hubby's 6th. The condo is huge, I mean ginormous! We had more than ample space for ourselves and the couple that joined us mid-week. Each of the 3 bedrooms had a balcony and bathroom (plus there is a guest bathroom). It is very tastefully decorated and well appointed with everything you need to feel like it is your own personal home. The beds are SUPER comfortable as is the rest of the furniture. Plenty of closet space and dresser space. I like to fully unpack.
You cannot beat the location..minutes from downtown, restaurants and convenience store within walking distance. Off-street parking is provided and they were working on the gated entrance with attendant booth while we were there. Very SAFE!! The owner called me just prior to the trip to alert me that there is some street noise from Melgar, which I was aware of anyway, but the honesty is greatly appreciated. And it was, a bit noisy during the day with scooters, trucks, taxis and buses but it quiets down at night. You can always close everything up and turn the air on to drown out the sound but we never did. To me, that noise is part of the charm of Cozumel. Plus, you can hear the cruiseship announcements and the "all aboard, we're leaving" horn...and you wave goodbye while relaxing on your balcony with a cocktail knowing that YOU get to stay in this glorious place!
Ammenities: the pool is equally huge, the fitness center is great, there are ping pong tables and a pool table just beside it and there's a tennis court, basketball hoop with a mini court, trampoline and children's playground outside.
We loved your property Tom and Brad! Thank you also to Matt and Elizabeth for always being willing to help. Truly, 5-stars is not enough for this condo. We Will Be Back!!!
