Family Vacation

We stayed for the week this summer with our children - 18, 10, 8 and 6. Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the house. The pictures are a good representation of the house, but it is hard to show how nice the back yard really is. The kids played back there a bunch, jumping in and out of the water when they got hot or too cold. We had fires most nights in the "pit". The house has good space for a family or even two. The owners give very helpful, detailed instructions on the house, and it seems like they thought of most everything. The house is well supplied for basic things (matches, guide books, flashlights). The kids loved the ping pong table and the movies - though we only watched one because we spent all our time outside enjoying the lake. Neighborhood is nice and quiet - we could have let the kids ride bikes up and down the street if we'd known. The lake is great, of course, and being from Texas it was great to enjoy the cooler weather and water. And the location gives you pretty easy access to the river toward Cheboygan (great half-day trip), and you can drive to Indian River or Cheboygan in about 20 mins. We really enjoyed our stay and would consider this home again when we come back to Mullett.
