About the Boise Greenbelt
The Boise Greenbelt links over 850 acres of parks and natural areas along the Boise River, including a 25-mile long bicycle and pedestrian path, paved except for a 1.5 mile section from Barber Park downstream. Year-round visitors can see songbirds, ducks, Canada geese, great blue heron and bald eagles in the winter. Wildlife viewing is best in early morning or late afternoon. There are several developed sites and overlooks adjacent to the Greenbelt for wildlife viewing. Along the Boise Greenbelt are Barber Park, Municipal Park, Julia Davis Park, Ann Morrison Park and Kathryn Albertson Park, all offering a variety of recreation for visitors. Boise Parks has a map showing the greenbelt, parks, museums and other attractions.
Wonderful locale, convenient to shopping, clean, secure and quiet. The River Run neighborhood is established and quite pleasant. Friendly and congenial owner who provided us with great ideas about the area.
This was our third time staying at 1958 Wood Duck, a truly fantastic place. We liked it so much we bought a unit across the creek. The unit with a very relaxing living area, especially with the easy to use fireplace is perfect for a couple. Just a few steps outside is the Boise Greenway and River. Lots of ducks, deer, herons and other animals to watch, just find a convenient rock/seating bench and enjoy the show. The unit is close to Whole Foods, great restaurants, downtown and the Shakespeare theater. Highly recommended.
Having lived in Boise for a few years I knew where I wanted to be. This neighborhood is very nice, full of trees and with great access to the Greenbelt hiking/biking trail along the Boise river. Its a 20 minute walk downtown or a 10 minute bike. The property is older (70's-ish), but very well taken care of with all the amenities I needed for a quick couple day visit or a longer stay. It was quite cold during my visit, which made the gas fireplace very handy. Owner is very responsive and promptly returned my deposit upon checkout. Highly recommended!
I was very happy with the house, nice and clean
Great area as I wanted close to the green belt and the neighborhood was beautiful !! lots of walking trails and huge shade trees thoughout the whole neighborhood. very quiet area. I am ready to come back again next year.
This was a perfect stay for us. Clean, conveniently located, and good communication. No complaints. Would definitely stay here again.
Floors were dirty all around the condo, bed sheets we mismatched with some in laundry, not enough paper supplies, i.e toilet paper and paper towels, no instructions on how at access the pool.
Decent price, it would have been great if the items above would have been addressed.
Not sure if house keeping was having a bad day or what.
