Getaway for a True Escape.

Remodeled home, designed to enjoy the outside, is a 2,000 square-foot 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath floor plan with a covered porch and a large trellis-topped entertaining area, seamlessly flowing onto the fenced-in pool deck. An annex for the family overflow, you live inside and outside at the same time. The resulting design evokes island sensibility with it's natural and 'beachy' elements.

Travertine stone and Italian tile are cool and clean underfoot for the whole of the house, the bedrooms have carpet, with the furnishings, accessories and tray ceilings bringing in the palm effect. The spacious kitchen has granite counter tops and a center island with seating which looks out at the pool, plus a separate bar top for company and conversation. The open family room easily accommodates the entire clan with a separate game area for the children, and the dining room to seat six will be the focus of indoor mealtimes.

Then there is the other part of the house-the other living area-all private, of course. A sparkling pool with a fountain, a professional grill and rotisserie, hand-laid pavers, a dining table to seat six and lounge chairs invite poolside relaxation both during the day and on those warm starry nights. Last but not least, an outdoor fireplace to lend a little romance or to take the chill off of an evening. The pool is heated for your enjoyment at no additional cost.

The real draw for all ages, however, remains the unforgettable beach. A short, straight stroll will deliver you to the Island's most pristine shoreline. Joggers, walkers, teens spiking a volleyball, clusters of children crafting sand into impressive fortresses and, at high tide, the folly. A ceaseless tumble of the tides and memories that you will forever hold dear.

Absolutely Stunning!!

We just returned from a one week stay at True Escape! This home definitely lives up to the name! From the location (5th row from beach-5 minute walk) to the awesome amenities! We spent LOTS of time in the pool! My two kiddos thoroughly loved swimming!
The outdoor grill and fireplace area is a major PLUS! We only ate out at a restaurant a couple of times; the other times we grilled!
Be advised the beach area (Driessen Beach) is a public beach, so if you do plan to drive, instead of walk, you must pay to park. The days we were at the beach, there were several people there, but still plenty of room to enjoy! ***TAKE BUG SPRAY*** Trust me, you will need it!
Overall, we had an excellent stay at this home! The layout of the home is great, the amenities cannot be beat, the neighborhood is quiet, the proximity to the beach is good, home is in excellent condition and the outdoor area is something you won't find with most other homes!
I would highly recommend this property and hope we get to stay again soon!

HHI Again!

This was our 2nd year in a row vacationing at HHI. This was by far our BEST vacation! This home has it all and is truly a "True Escape" We cooked fresh seafood every night but one, the gourmet kitchen and outdoor grill allows you to enjoy cooking. The outdoor area and pool were a tropical paradise. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away and is beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home.

BEAUTIFUL, COMFORTABLE HOME

We were scheduled to go to St George Island, FL (our vacation spot for years)! The morning we were supposed to go, we had to change our plans due to Tropical Storm Isaac. We had never been to Hilton Head before. We booked this house and were on our way! The photos looked great on the website, but you just truly don't know until you see it in person. We arrived and fell in LOVE immediately! What a beautiful home. The pool area is great for our 2 young girls. There is a shallow "ledge" in the pool where the water is only 4-5" deep with a fountain. It was great for my 2-year old to play in the water. Unfortunately I spent most of the time inside because my 6 month old had an ear infection. I am thankful I was able to sit in the den which overlooks the pool area, so I could see my husband & older daughter play in the pool. The house is VERY comfortable so I wasn't suffering when I was inside :) We are hoping to return again soon and perhaps this will be our new vacation spot?! The gas grill was a great feature - we spent alot of nights hanging out by the pool and grilling out. The beds are comfortable and the house is very clean. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a rental home in Hilton Head. The owner was easy to work with too!

Perfecto!!

This place exceeded our expectations! This was the first time we traveled with our 9 yr. old daughter and her 2 friends and their parents - the kids had a blast! The best part was the pool area with the built in grill & fireplace, we cooked out almost every night and had to drag the kids out of the pool to get them ready for bed. The house was very well maintained and extremely comfortable to lounge around in. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay, the beach is a 3 min. walk down a very quiet street in a great neighborhood located within easy driving distance to all of Hilton Head. I would recommend True Escape to anyone.

Excellent retreat

Very clean and user friendly for our family. Big kichen area with all imenities, Very close to all attractions and restaurants. The pool area was the "best feature" as we spent most of the time outside. Short walk to the beach and/or beach parking available. I recommend this place to stay for anyone.
