Great Deal! Really nice Condo

Overall, Steve's condo at Pacifico Colonial is a great place and my wife and I highly recommend it if you're planning on staying in Manual Antonio. We searched online for over a month looking for a nice, affordable place to stay in Costa Rica for our honeymoon. We were happy with our choice.
The condo is beautiful. The description was very accurate; Pictures don't do it justice. If you like sitting on balconies, then you'll like this place. The large balcony is the highlight. The downside of it is that you're not close enough to hear the ocean, but all of the places in Manual Antonio are too high up the hillside to hear the water. It does however have a nice view of the ocean, which becomes spectacular, if it's not overcast and you're able to see the sunset. We spent quite a bit of time on the balcony. It was very peaceful and quiet (dependent on other guests staying there). The complex is nice because it only has 10 units, so it didn't get too noisey with other guests while we were there.
The inside of the condo has a lot of nice ammenities; a beautiful kitchen with full set of dishes, blender, microwave, stove, full size fridge and freezer. Those really came in handy on the nights we stayed in. The main room has a nice flat screen television mounted on the wall with cable tv and a dvd player (most channels are in Spanish, some in English though).
One of the nicer features is the gated parking. The parking is convienent and secure with assigned spaces that are gated with remoted access and 24 security sitting outside it. The security guards were very polite and attentive. Helped us in and out of the parking space onto the main road..
Steve is very customer oriented. He allowed us to push our stay forward a day with no penalty charge, when our flight was canceled and we had to wait until the next day to fly to Costa Rica.
The only things we didn't like about it had nothing to do with the condo. It had to do with the beach and the town. Manual Antonio beach isn't as nice as we were expecting and Quepos has a rundown and crowded feel to it; however they seemed typical of other towns we drove through to get there, Manual Antonio is a tourist area, so if you're looking for a place with a lot of activities (zip-lining, spa, etc) it's a good place. There were two great restaurants within 3 minutes walking distance: Kapi Kapi & Barba Rojas. If you choose Manual Antonio, I'd definitely recommend Steve's Condo.
