St. Andrews Cottage Rental Photos and Description

Cottage, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6)

This beautiful two bedroom getaway cottage is nestled on a one acre oceanfront secluded vacation spot. With over 450' of bluffed shoreline along its flanks, it presents a spectacular view of Passamaquoddy Bay. The tourist town of St. Andrews by the Sea is just miles away.

The cozy cottage presents an open floor concept with a front view to the ocean with two bedrooms and a modern kitchen. A wrap around deck provides a vantage point for relaxing and taking in the scenery. There is an access to the beach where a sitting and firepit area are carved out of the rocks just feet from the tide line. There is also over a mile of shoreline to stroll on for those who love beachcombing.

A week in Wonderland!

  • 4 of 5
This little hideaway is a beautifully secluded spot to watch the amazing Bay of Fundy/Passamaquaddy Bay ecosystem. We were lucky enough to have a full moon reflecting on the bay! Wow comes to mind when I think about the incredible view. The house is clean and well kept although the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and the dryer had towels which were dry and I left folded. No big deal! I noticed a cigarette burn on the sofa which was sad as the owner specifically asks for no smoking. Again, no big deal!
I did suggest to the owner that he include exit numbers in his directions. One day we missed them (completely our fault, I think because we were not sure what we were looking for) and ended up back at the border. Apparently, it's a common problem according to the immigration official!
We loved the walks around the lake, so secluded and beautiful. St Andrew's is convenient and lovely. There's a HUGE grocery shop in St George which had everything one could possibly need. The chocolate shop was a bit overrated. St. John is worth a visit. The mall can be traversed through over the road walkways and is big as well as noisy. That's where the visitors center and the Museum of New Brunswick are located. The t John market was disappointing but the Fredericton Saturday market was an adventure in itself.

Beautiful Get-Away-From-It-All in St. Andrews NB

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I were visiting the St. Andrews area on vacation and this home was just perfect for us. Each night we sat on the deck and watched the tide go in and out and looked at the millions of stars in the sky. The home has a great kitchen with all the cooking things we needed and the bed was very comfortable. So nice to wake up in the morning with the view of the bay the first thing you see. The village of St. Andrews was only a few minutes drive away and we enjoyed the shops in the village.
Thank you for letting us stay in your home. We will be back if we come to St. Andrews again,.

A brilliant and comfortable cottage close enough to St. Andrews yet off the beaten path

  • 5 of 5
The cottage was impeccably clean and lacked nothing. The beds were so comfortable, the view was incredible, the cottage had everything you would need and there was endless exploring and rock skipping to be done at the waters edge. Top that off with the llamas (alpacas?) and horses down the lane and the birds of prey fishing in the bay and the town of St. Andrews just a few minutes away and you would call this cottage perfect!

Our Stay in St. Andrews

  • 5 of 5
Thank you for a great stay at your cottage. Even though the weather didn't cooperation for part of the trip, we used the wood stove on the cool days and enjoyed the outdoor firepit on the warm ones. We spent the evenings sipping wine and taking in the beautiful view and tides; watching the eagles looking for their dinner was amazing. Peaceful and close to town, the best of both worlds. Very relaxing.

Best place ever

This place is like Paradise on earth. The view is breath taking. It is a place to get revitalised, serene and peaceful. I really hope to return next year. After returning home I felt almost depressed from missing the cottage so much.

Great holiday

Perfect Private Getaway

  • 5 of 5
We just returned from a fantastic week at the Joyce's cottage by the bay. It could not have been a more beautiful or restful place to vacation. We loved watching the ever-changing bay, especially the ospreys who fished morning and night. We loved walking the trails around the surrounding farm and in the woods. We loved the porch swing, the comfy bed, and the lovely kitchen appointments. We loved exploring St Andrews By the Sea, where everyone made us feel so welcome. We loved taking the ferries to Campobello and indulging our passion for history. In short, we had a wonderful, rejuventating time, and I feel truly blessed to have been able to enjoy this wonderful cottgae. Thank you so much for sharing this special place with us. We shall return!
