ECO-FRIENDLY LUXURY - HARBOR BEACH HOUSE IN SANTA CRUZ

About the house: Harbor Beach House is a two story custom home with wonderful attention to detail and new furnishings. This two year old home is now open for guests to relax in the wonderful beach town of Santa Cruz. You will enjoy a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with custom wood cabinets, gas stove and oven, granite counters and top of the line stainless steel appliances. The lower floor has an open floor plan with the kitchen adjoining the living room and dining area, 1/2 bath with granite vanity.

After a great day at the beach, have quick rinse in the warm outdoor shower and relax by the cozy gas fireplace watching the 42' plasma TV or put on some tunes from your iPod from the iHome docking station and play some fun board games like Beach Monopoly. The living room looks out to the private patio with BBQ and outdoor seating. No garage access.

Upstairs....: The upper level has three bedrooms and two full baths. Relax in the master bedroom on a king bed with premium mattress and bedding. This room has a flat screen TV, DVD, walk in closet, private balcony overlooking backyard, Pottery Barn furniture and bedding. The private bath has a soaking tub, granite two-sink vanity, radiant heat floors and custom 'rain' shower.

The second Hawaiian themed queen bedroom has flat screen TV and access to front balcony and shares the second bath just down the hall: deep tub/rain shower and radiant floor heating in second bath. The third bunk bedroom has bunk beds with custom 'vintage surfer' bedding, access to front balcony and shares the second bath. Beds comfortably sleep 6, no extra bedding or pull out sofa available. Additional guests may not spend the night in sleeping bags or on the couch.

Activities within a 2-5 minute walk: Enjoy the beach with lifeguards during the summer and fire pits at night (bring hot dogs and marshmallows for roasting!). Lake fishing within 1 block, short walk to harbor with chartered sailing, paddleboard,kayak, fishing, whale watching and free water taxi in the summer.

Twin Lakes Park has tennis courts, basketball and children's park combined. Restaurants at the beach, harbor and neighborhood, all within short walking distance. Enjoy Johnny's Harbor Side with fresh fish market or Crow's Nest with live entertainment and dining deck overlooking the harbor. Sit on the beach outside of the Kind Grind coffee bistro featuring the perfect cup of hot java with fresh pastries; free live jazz on Sunday mornings!

The famous 100 year old Santa Cruz Boardwalk is within 10 min driving time and antiquing in downtown Aptos is 15 min drive. Take a tour of our wineries or the Monarch butterfly winter home in Natural Bridges State Park (10 min drive), ask about wild life tours.
