Pilots Haven is a beach cottage surrounded by spectacular fall foliage with deep water frontage for boating and float planes, a 50 ft. dock for boats &/or float planes, launching ramp & mooring. Sun bathe on sand beach with 2 personal swimming floats. Cottage has hand crafted ash & pine custom interior, 10' walls and cathedral ceiling. Outside & inside gas grills. Deck overlooking lake. At the dead end of a private road, 20 acres and 750 ft. of lake frontage. Located in E. Machias, Washington County also known as The Sunrise County. One is serenaded by Loons who nest and raise their young on the island in front of your cottage. Moose, deer and bear; a paradise for wildlife, birds and wale watchers. Nearby antiques, pottery, ME craft, light houses, 3 golf courses. Rentals available for canoes, kayak, paddle boat and/or fishing boat with 4 cycle outboard motor. Party Boat trips can be arranged on Gardner Lake.
