This is an Executive Retreat that's over 3,000 sq. ft. The moment you see the front door that was carved by one of Disney's old world craftsman, you know your walking into a truly well crafted and designed mountain home. This hand carved door welcomes you to a unique vacation experience. This 'Dream Home' has extensive rock work done outside using slate, rock and real stone in the front and back. We have a very large master retreat that features a king size bed and a bathroom with a jetted tub, walk-in shower with stain glass windows and much more. We include a fireplace for those cold winter nights and two chairs that open up for extra sleeping. The other two bedrooms both have queen size beds and are finely appointed by a local designer. The furniture throughout this beautiful home is finely appointed. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen awaits you. It comes with all stainless steel appliances including a double oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave for those family dinners

It has granite counter tops with tumbled marble back splash. The stainless steel BBQ is just outside the door and the dinning room is just around the corner with its mountain decor. The living room comes with a large screen TV, surround sound and a DVD player. We also have high vaulted ceilings and custom furniture. We have great views from the living room and a spacious patio to enjoy a sunset. The rock fireplace provides a warmth during a snowy afternoon. The backyard has a large spa and bar area. The back yard is also gated to protect your little ones but lots of room to run around and enjoy the snow.

This is a wonderful house just as described. Everything from the first time we emailed Mary and started discussing renting this property was just perfect. It is a beautiful home with plenty of room and a wonderful cabin feel. We stayed with another family so we had 9 people total - 4 adults, 5 kids and 2 small dogs. We never felt cramped. It is not on the main boulevard so you do not hear any traffic passing by, yet it is close enough to easily get around. Our trip included quite the snowstorm so we did not get to use the beautiful deck in the front, but I can imagine a peaceful morning cup of coffee on a pleasant summer day. I guess we will just have to go back. Thanks again Mary!

Fantastic home! I must admit I was hesitant to ski locally as I usually trek to the Colorado or Utah ski resorts, and thought that Big Bear Lake accommodations were something to be endured rather than enjoyed. Boy, was I wrong! This home was exactly what I would expect to find at Vail or Deer Valley – but at a fraction of the price and travel time. This home has a wonderful kitchen, inviting family room with a very high-end entertainment system and views of the lake as well as luxurious (cabin-themed) furnishings and decorations abound. This home is very clean and is very special. I look forward to visiting again in the future. Thank you Mary!

We were in awe the moment we arrived at this
home! The pictures and description do not do it
justice. We felt instantly at home; it was warm and
cozy yet large and impressive. This home does not
feel like a rental, it is a place where you would want
to live. We enjoyed the amenities and the view, plus
the neighborhood was wonderful. I can't say
enough about this home, but I can say that we can
not wait to return! Thanks Mary for making our
Christmas even more special!!
