Newly renovated, this comfortable home with contemporary design, is 4/10 of a mile to the base of mount Sunapee, and 4/10 of a mile to Sunapee State Beach. It features a full kitchen with all the amenities, dining for 8, a screened in sun porch, and a quiet location. The bedrooms consist of a master bedroom, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a bedroom with bunk beds, a single bed, and a trundle bed. The living room features french doors with a full size pull out sofa bed. There is a phone, cable and wireless Internet service. There are also many games and children's videos. The basement is a 600 square foot game room with a ping pong table, fooseball, and air hockey.The yard is large and private.

The Lake Sunapee area is a great area for all seasons. The house is at the base of Mount Sunapee and it is next to the snowmobile corridor. You can walk through the snowmobile corridor to Sunapee State beach, where there are full facilities, snack bars and kayak and canoe rentals. This spring (2009) a large playground was built at the beach. Sunapee Harbor is a short drive away, and features a dining cruise ship as well as other restaurants. New London is the large town nearby that has unique shops to browse.

We had a wonderful stay! It is the perfect location. We rented for the summer time-- and we were minutes from both the Harbor, and the State Beach. It looked like the perfect spot and so close to Mt. Sunapee-- for winter skiing rentals.
The home was clean, and updated, the screened in porch was perfect for relaxing. The high speed access worked great- we had no challenges at all. Owners were very friendly and attentive if we needed anything. Great experience! Fantastic area-- to relax, fish, ski, or kayak on the lake!

Great vacation spot

This house was a beautiful spot to rest and relax at after a day of skiing on the mountain. The pictures are nice but the house in person was even more beautiful. The house was immaculate and included brand new furnishes and everything you could need to make a nice home cooked meal. Parking was plenty so invite as many people as you would like. The cottage sleeps 10 people so there is plenty of space for everyone. Cannot wait to come back another time; the location is perfect. Breakfast looking out at the beautiful view is a perfect way to start the day.

Great Vacation Home

This home was great! We had a wonderful ski vacation over the new year's holiday. The house comfortably sheltered a group of 10 and was practically right on top of the entrance to Mount Sunapee. The kitchen had everything you could need to prepare meals and serve a nice breakfast/lunch/dinner.

The upstairs bedrooms were cozy and had more than enough space to store items for the stay. The driveway was plowed promptly and never was an issue - plenty of space for family members or friends to put their cars!

I'd recommend to anyone looking for a great ski/snowboard vacation getaway!
