This home is beautifully decorated in classic English style. It features 3 bedrooms with queen size beds and 3.5 baths. There is a full guest-suite with its own library/TV room. The main floor contains a large foyer, newly renovated gourmet kitchen, formal dining room, an extra large sunken living room with fireplace and beamed ceiling. There is a screed porch with 2 Adirondack chairs to take in the mountain views. The enclosed sun room overlooks the in ground pool. One of the great amenities is the 20 x 40 gunite pool which is 9ft. deep and 3ft. shallow. An expansive concrete patio surrounds the pool which is private, perfect for entertaining or just relaxing on one of many chaise lounges. There is a cabana with shower and bath.

Ambleside, As our home is known as was built in 1931 by renowned architect Gerard Betts, who designed City Hall, the Post Office , High School and many prestigious homes in our area. He was inspired by the wonderful Tudors seen on his many trips to England's Lake country. While walking through the town of Ambleside he was taken by one particular house and decided to recreate it here in the beautiful Hudson Valley where he lived. Thus the name Ambleside. It is a shining example of the Tudor Style and is beautifully decorated as an English country house should be. Staying here you feel as though you have been transported to another place, a place to relax and unwind. Enjoy your visit
