Warmth and charm on the beach!! From the moment you walk in the house to be greeted by a famous and fun Walter Palmer pelican sculpture, the finishing touches on this charismatic 1964 house come from Savannah brick, aged heart pine floors, and knobby cypress and pecky-pine walls, reclaimed from a historic Savannah parish house. The house is buffered from the beach by a 20x50 yard, beautifully landscaped open-space, and the front side of the house is bordered by two lagoons;, bringing the house to feel like a private, peaceful sanctuary! This timeless, beautifully designed home is featured in the first few pages of the book 'Three Decades of Hilton Head Architecture'. The house has been meticulously maintained and improved over the years by a family member/property manager, who lives two miles away and is on call 24/7 to guarantee your satisfaction and answer any questions.

We couldn't think of a better place to spend a vacation. The house is lovely, plenty of room, everything is clean and comfortable, and the best views around. Everything you need and extras are included in this beautiful home. We sat on the deck each morning having our breakfast and listen to the waves crashing on shore. There was always a wonderful breeze and great trees to keep it cool. The hammock on the lower deck, by the water, was my favorite stop to read my book or watch the people walking on the beach. I don't think you could find a better place to stay. All are needs were met and we would recommend this home to anyone wanting a great vacation spot. We are can't wait to spend another vacation at this lovely property.

My family stayed at this beach house for a week in june of 08 and we had the best time. It is such a perfect spot for lots of people to be comfortable and so kid friendly. The beach is right out the door so everyone can be on their own time frame..and come and go from the beach as you wish.Its a lovley home..we want to go back every year..thank you jill
