What a great vacation! Everything was as advertised and more. Grandparents to 8 year olds all living in the same place with room to spare. Large kitchen with two refrigerators was perfect for prepping meals. Plenty of balcony room to get fresh air and watch the sunset. Tropical surroundings at the pool made us feel like we were in the Jamaica. Beds were comfortable, spacious and plentiful. Can't wait to return.

Beautiful Place

We (my wife, 8 kids, and my parents) rented this house from the 23rd to the 25th of May 2009. We had our 8th kid a few weeks earlier and were celebrating some time away before my parents returned to Canada. The house is beautiful and well taken care of. Plenty of room for everyone. The pool is beautiful and the hot tub was a hit with the kids. The beach is a very short walk away.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the beach house and found a flower arrangement waiting for us from the owner of the house to celebrate our new baby.
It was a wonderful and humbling touch on the owners behalf. Very much appreciatied!!
The manager of the property stopped by to check that everything was going well. That was a nice touch. The beds are nice and comfortable. Time went by very quickly and we were sad to have to leave. We will be returning soon.

Our Week at South Padre Island

My husband, two adult children and one grandchild just returned from a week at SPI, having rented this house. It is light, spacious and better equipped than any house we've ever rented. The only thing I unpacked which I brought from home was my favorite sharp knife. It is an easy short walk to the beach past a tiki shack that serves great margaritas and hamburgers. The resident manager is on top of the job. It was a wonderful week - either by the beach or the very clean pool and hot tub.

Great Holliday Home Base

This home is really great, the pictures just don't do it justice. It is spacious, very well appointed and feels just like home as soon as you move in. We were in South Padre to kitesurf and the home was perfect for us. A full garage to store equipment an outdoor shower to clean up after the kiting and a gorgeous back yard pool to louge around and relax plus a perfect outdoor barbeque to cook up supper. I would rent this home again without hesitation.
