Idyllic lakeside setting just steps from the water with your own private beach. This adorable and tidy cottage has 1 small bedroom and a loft with 2 twins, comfortable common area, fully equipped kitchen and bath. Wonderful canoeing, kayaking,(boats included) hiking, bird and loon watching. A naturalist's paradise.This cottage is centrally located near many classic Maine towns, including Damariscotta, Boothbay, Camden and Rockland. You'll find many fine galleries, restaurants, shopping, museums, ocean, lake beaches, lighthouses and plenty of lobster! An hour from Portland and 3 hours from Boston. Enjoy a country getaway with as little or as much as you'd like to do.

Damariscotta Lake Park is just 5 minutes away. Country fairs and festivals are a short drive including the Rockland Lobster Festival. Other areas of interest are the Maine Botanical Gardens, the Monhegan and other island ferries as well as the well known Farnsworth Museum.

Notes: Indoor fireplace is new and heats with propane. Kids Toys are sand toys and floats for use on the beach. Their is a TV available but reception is very limited. There is a DVD player available. Also lots of DVDs There is a float anchored in the lake to swim to as well as a new dock. Beach Towels are not provided, please bring your own. (optional if difficult due to traveling by plane etc..) Bottled water is provided for drinking. Adult life jackets are available, please bring children's life jackets with you. (call if traveling plans make this difficult) 1 kayak and 1 canoe available for use. Pets are considered, additional $50 fee per week required.
