Hardwood floor. 9 ft ceilings. ----------------------------------------------------------- dining table queen size bed 2 x full sofa pullout bed (sleeps 2 each). coffee maker iron and iron board washer and dryer dishwasher central heat / ac unit microwave oven, conventional oven subzero refrigerator with icemaker camera security system ATM machine flat panel tv, DVD player ++++++ high-speed wireless Internet + laptop provided +++++++++++ ++++++ building is handicapped accessible +++++++++++++++++++++++ located in GREAT SHOPPING area (Bloomingdale's, etc), tram/Randall's island, Central Park, museum-friendly location (close to MOMA, Met, Guggenheim) a few blocks away from 59st/Lexington subway station (4, 5, 6, N, Q, R, W)

For 5 of us traveling from Australia for our first visit in New York, we were absolutely delighted upon arrival at the apartment. It looks as gorgeous as the pictures and is located in a great part of town. Very Gossip Girl!
A little bit away from the main tourist spots in midtown, but still with easy access to Central Park, the subway and great shopping areas.
As an added bonus we got to watch Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant film a street away.
For those not use to the noise of NYC, be prepared for a couple of sleepless nights in the front bedrooms. But once you've experienced a few full days of sight seeing, you will sleep like a baby.
