Area Amenities:: The Pigeon Forge area has many attractions/restaurants/theater and dinner shows/outlet mall shopping to keep you busy for your vacation. No matter how much time you have allotted for your Smoky Mountain Getaway, trust me you will never see all you wanted to in the area. Cades Cove is a must to see, with the 11 mile loop drive with old historic settlements and wildlife. We make it a family tradition every Christmas Day, and the animals also know it's Christmas. We always see more wildlife in the park on this day. The area towns are lite up with millions of Christmas lights for Winterfest, which starts Nov. 7 and runs through end of February, and don't miss Dollywood during your holiday stay, it is simply amazing at night in the park. For the golfing enthusiasts check out the many golf courses in the area within 20 minutes of the cabin

Stag's Leap Cabin Decorations: The towns are all decked out for the holiday seasons, and Stag's Leap is no exception. Fall, with the autumn color changes brings the mountains alive with brilliant hues of red, orange and crimson with the crisp mountain air. Stag's Leap nestled in a wooded setting is simply brilliant with color outside and inside the cabin, beautifully decorated for fall (Sept. till end of Oct.) and again for the Christmas season (Nov. till end of Jan.). Don't wait this cabin books up very fast.

I wanted to thank you so VERY MUCH for sharing your place with us! We saw the wild turkeys before we even pulled into your driveway! You cabin on the outside as well the inside, could be featured in a magazine!. So gorgeous, very tastefully decorated too!!!

We shopped till we dropped, ate until we couldn't move and also visited many attractions and came back in the evenings to relax. You did not leave one single detail out, in your cabin other than underplaying just how great it is!! Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us.

Almost heaven, Smokie Mountains

It's clean, quiet, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and fun. It is a home away from home except it is suited for the mountains. We are 70ish and appreciate the quality and cleanliness of this home. There are neighbors but we never saw them or spoke with them. It is far enough from town to be out in the woods but close enough to eat out every evening if you care to. Eat in? You bet. The kitchen is well equipped. There is even an ice maker. We were there in the summer but it would be nice most any time of the year except winter unless you have a 4wd vehicle. The roads are windy and steep. It is worth every penny we paid. Suzanne
