About Sherri

We have been vacationing at the Jersey Shore since 1991 but prior to that my husband grew up at the shore and longed to come back so we purchased a home in Sea Isle in 1991. In 2002 we knocked the original property down and re-built it to what you see today.

Why Sherri chose Sea Isle City

Close to the beach and stores. You can walk to the local ACME, CVS, Sands Dept. Store, and Uncle Oogies family restaurant. A great family getaway place with lots to do but not too 'commercial.'

What makes this townhome unique

This property is conveniently located to the beach, a public park and also shopping and restaurants. We never have to get in our car if we don't want to. We also enjoy the large living area with cathedral ceiling and there are plenty of windows and a huge deck to enjoy outdoor living while staying here.

Awesome house- looking to rent again!

Just was looking up this listing again because we absolutely loved this house! You could not ask for a better location right across from the beach path. The decks are fabulous, and the spacious open family room with kitchen was where everyone wanted to be! I just read one negative review on here and I am suprised bc that reviewer rented only a month after us and I can tell you the house is NEAT AND CLEAN, not cluttered.. We are very picky renters ( renting over 20 years at the shore) and it was PERFECT.

Perfect Family House

We recently spent four terrific weeks at this house. The majority of the time was with my wife and four children, but the house is very big and spacious and we had some other family stay with us for a few days. The house is laid out very well and all the bedrooms are large and comfortable. The living room and kitchen has an outdoor deck that runs the entire length of the house (including a great grill on the deck) that made it really fun in the evenings with my family having dinner outdoors with the views and ocean sounds. Location wise, the house couldn't be more ideal for a family given the proximity to the beach, food shopping and other needs all a short walk away. The landlords were responsive and friendly and we would rent here again in a heartbeat. I would highly recommend this house for larger families, especially those with kids. You really can't go wrong here.

Beautiful Home at the Beach

My family stayed here and everyone was comfortable and had a great time. There is room for a large family to stay and gather at the shore--a perfect spot near the beach. The decks were an added bonus to spend time relaxing. The owners "checked in" with us to make sure all was to our liking.

Great location and views from the deck

The outside decks were my favorite part of this house, we had a family reunion with a variety of ages staying here. Everyone had enough space to spread out and to gather together in the large main room. The extra refrigerator and beach chair provided were a plus.

Angry girl.

Whatever you do DO NOT rent this house. The beds are absolutely terrible and it's not even just a few of them...ALL of the beds are as hard as concrete and don't even have springs in them. You might as well sleep on the floor. This house was WAY overpriced for the condition it is in. The floors are gross and there is a lot of clutter that they don't show in the pictures. Oh and not to mention the wifi SUCKS and the closets smell like mold...there is a lot of dust everywhere. Overall pretty gross house for the money we paid. I would not recommend this house to anyone until the owner updates it immediately.

Owner's Response: You will note that among all of the good reviews, there is 1 outlier that rated our unit poorly. This rating from this particular tenant was no surprise, & it dignifies a thoughtful response. This tenant never contacted us during the entire week they were there, to complain about anything. Not a peep about anything. Then, after they left, the tenant contacted us by e-mail with a shopping list of complaints, & asked us to refund an unspecified amount of money in consideration. She waited to complain until AFTER using the property for the entire week, which is counter intuitive to what anyone else would do if they were dissatisfied, so here is our response: "Terrible beds". These are the beds we bought for our own family's use prior to renting out the home, they were not rental junk. This is the rental configuration for a typical family consisting of six adults and six kids, with the kids on the bunk beds and cots. We advertise it as a FAMILY rental. It is not set up to accommodate 12 adults. To have people complain about the comfort of futons/bunk beds & cots suggests that the home was overloaded with adults. "Floors are gross". We have a cleaning service come in after each tenant leaves. Tile floors are swept and mopped. Bedrooms have carpets that are professionally cleaned every season before the first rental, and vacuumed after each tenant. Floors do not clean themselves during a tenant's stay, so perhaps they became gross over the week they were there. "A lot of clutter that they don't show in the pictures". Not sure about this, We have several bookcases with toys & books, & a library of DVDs by the TV in the great room, for which other tenants have expressed appreciation. Other than normal furniture like sofas, tables and chairs, cleaning supplies in closets, and pictures on the wall, the only clutter would be what the tenant brought with them. The photos we have online are not doctored in any way, nothing was removed or staged. "A lot of dust everywhere". Our cleaning service wipes down surfaces during rental changeover and no one has ever complained in the five years we used this cleaning service. All of the floors are hard surfaces except bedrooms, so where would the dust come from anyway? It’s unfortunate that this tenant was not satisfied. We have repeat tenants every year, so we must be doing SOMETHING right. You can't please all of the people all of the time, especially when they voice their displeasure when it is too late to act.

One Great Vacation Property

Everything is great about this place. And everything is as accurate as said. I would recommend this place to anyone who would respect it, as I and my family plan to return for our 3rd year this Summer. Zach and Sherri are always helpful, During our first year the TV died. Zach was there the next day with a brand new flat screen. Lots to do, beach across the street. What can I say--Heaven?
