This beautiful log home is located 15 minutes west of Traverse City and 15 minutes away from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore voted most beautiful place in America by Good Morning America, August 2011.
The Lodge is available year round. It has five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and an entertainment room with a ping pong table, foosball table, pool table and large flat screen TV.
The Lodge is part of Sleeping Bear Resort which is a popular family gathering destination for groups of up to 70 people.
The Lodge is centrally located at the base of the Leelanau Peninsula. The region is recognized for its award winning wineries, excellent restaurants and charming little villages.
You can relax on the wrap-around deck and enjoy the wildlife, bald eagles, loons, and white tailed deer to name a few. Or take a kayak out for an adventure on the lake, or try your fishing skills, there are blue gill, bass,and perch.
The trampoline raft gives many hours of fun to our swimmers and the sandy beach is great to soak up some sunshine or make a sand castle with the kids. You can finish your evening around the camp fire roasting marshmallows and listen to the whipper wills sing. There is much to do here at The Lodge which is a part of Sleeping Bear Resort.
