Los Almendros has an experienced, bilingual office staff that assists guests in making reservations for deep sea fishing, diving, snorkeling, sailing, surfing, white water rafting, massages, tours of national parks, bird watching, hot spring bathing, rain forest tours, volcanoes, canopy tours and horseback riding. The on-site General Manager has been with Los Almendros for over ten years. He is bilingual, a Guanacaste native, and knows all the local tour operators. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to help guests plan and coordinate their vacation activities.

A typical day at Los Almendros:
1) Wake to the sounds of tropical wildlife. 2) Take an early morning walk on the beach. 3) Enjoy a half day tour (deep sea fishing, snorkeling, hiking…) or swim and bask in the sun at Playa Ocotal, an award winning “Blue Flag” beach. 4) Relax at a swimming pool and converse with vacation travelers from around the world. 5) Go next door to Father Rooster’s Restaurant to sip margaritas and watch the sun set. 6) Drive 5 minutes into Coco to shop for souvenirs. Dine at one of the area’s excellent restaurants. 7) Fall asleep listening to the ocean surf!!!
Transportation:
Taxi’s into Coco cost $6-7 each way. Tour operators pick-up and drop off at Los Almendros. Taxi service is available to and from the Liberia airport. An automobile is nice to have…but is not a necessity in Costa Rica.
Secure parking is available in front of each condominium. Los Almendros has 24 hour security.
