Perfect for Our Family

This place was perfect for our family vacation with six adults and three children.
When I first inquired about the house, I was a little confused about the number of rooms and beds. It has five bedrooms, four upstairs and one downstairs next to the living room. There are two king beds and two queen beds upstairs with two bathrooms. The upstairs master has an attached bathroom and the other three bedrooms share the hall bath. There are five steps down into the living room, and the final bedroom is situated next to the living room. It has a king size bed. That bedroom has a bathroom a few steps away. Also downstairs and next to the bathroom is the laundry room. The washer and dryer are very nice, so we were able to do our clothes while we were there.
The place had everything that we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. There are plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and towels. There is a computer and printer in the living room area, and it came in handy several times.
The dining room table had enough chairs to fit all nine of us at once, which was nice. There was also a table in the kitchen that we used as a buffet setup area for preparing meals. There are also a few bar stools in the kitchen (for seating), as well.
The only complaint (which wasn't a huge problem) was a lack of seating for a big family in the living room. There weren't any recliners, and after a long day of sight seeing, we definitely wanted to kick back and relax. Also, this home is in a residential neighborhood. My previous VRBO stays were not situated as closely to neighbors. While we could hear the neighbors if we were outside, once we were in the house, we couldn't hear anything that was going on outside. There pictures don't really show that.
There was a closet of toys for the kids, and there was a swing set in the backyard for them, as well.
We had no problems, and we will definitely return with our family if we vacation again in the DC area.
