SPECIAL RATES: * $100/night for any available dates in 2009 * $125/night for all remaining 2010 winter season dates - we still have some availability in February & March! Our spacious condo offers a sweeping ocean view, and was recently painted and redecorated. It features a new flat-screen TV, cable, HBO, VCR/DVD, cordless phone, CD/MP3 player, washer/dryer in the unit, new A/C, and ceiling fans. The fully-stocked kitchen has a refrigerator with ice maker, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and grinder, toaster, blender, rice cooker, new grill utensils, and everything you need to cook at 'home'. We also have free wireless Internet and a Mac Mini computer for our guests.

The smoke-free condo has 2 full bathrooms with new tub and tile in the master bath. The bedroom has a queen bed with brand new bedding, and the living room has a comfortable sleeper sofa. Both rooms open onto the lanai, which runs the length of the unit - a perfect place to enjoy the view with a cup of Kona coffee or a cocktail. Bedding, bath towels, and a collection of beach items (beach towels, cooler, bamboo mats, beach chairs, beach umbrella) are provided. For families with small children, items include plastic dishes, sand toys, puzzles, and a booster seat. The Maui Banyan's eight acres of manicured grounds include two swimming pool areas, each with a hot tub and several gas BBQ grills. Tennis courts are also available.

Some of the features that make the Maui Banyan the best location in South Kihei are: *Across Kihei Road from the spectacular Kamaole Beach II *Walking distance to neighborhood grocery stores, video rentals, snorkel shops, Internet cafes, and a wide range of restaurants *5-minute drive to Wailea, where you will find upscale shopping, award-winning golf, fine dining, and luxurious spas *Makena's gorgeous beaches and prime snorkeling spots are a 10-minute drive away

Our condo is located on the third floor of the H building in the Maui Banyan complex, on the north-facing (cooler) side. This centrally located building is convenient to the front desk, the lower pool and grill area, and the parking structure. Most importantly, it is just a short walk from the beach. Fantastic Condo in a Great Kihei Location

My husband and I travelled to Maui in April 2009. I was very impressed initially when the owner of this condo contacted me so quickly by phone and then by email to answer any questions I had about the condo or the area. We arrived at the condo very late due to our plane's arrival time (after midnight). We were given specific directions on how to reach security via a courtesy phone and had the keys in our hands within minutes of arriving. The condo met and exceeded all our expectations. It was clean and well kept. It included items that we made excellent use of such as beach mats, sand toys, beach chairs, a cooler, Maui travel book, and a Mac computer! Plus we made use of items that we didn't expect to be there but were very happy to see (plastic containers for food storage, bag clips, etc.)...just simple items that come in handy when you are away from home! The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen items. Definitely a plus!! Having two bathrooms (even for just the two of us) and in-suite laundry were huge bonuses for us. There is a front desk in the complex which has a friendly and knowledgeable staff. If we return to Maui, we will definitely stay in this condo again. I will also be recommending it to anyone else I know traveling to Maui. It would be good for couples of any age (we are in our late 20's), or those with just one or two children.
