This loft is located in the heart of downtown Asheville - a bustling scenic town nestled in the mountains and filled with locally owned shops, restaurants, and galleries. Drive up to the famous Blue Ridge Parkway or the Biltmore Estate in less than 10 minutes. You couldn't find a better location to base your Asheville mountain escape. Park your car in the lot across the street and walk easily to all of downtown Asheville's attractions: Pack Place which houses the DIana Wortham Theater, the Health Adventure and the Coburn Gem and Mineral Museum. Also downtown is the Civic Center, many art galleries, the Orange Peel, the FIne Arts theater, and too many great locally owned restaurants to name.

  • Cleaning fee is included in stays of 3 or more nights. $65 for stays less than three nights.

    Holidays and Bele Chere are $225-250/night .. $1300/week.
    No smoking or pets. A $200 deposit is required upon booking.
    7% sales tax added to total.
    Winter rates (January - March 2009): $175/night, 1100 weekly, $2400 monthly
    March 1, 2009 - December 31, 2009 rates will be $205/night, $1150 weekly, $3300 mo
    SPRING 09 SPECIAL UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE: $195 night (2008 rate) instead of $205. Just mention this notice.

  • Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years) are $225/night with a three night minimum. Bele Chere, a huge arts and music festival in late July, is $250/night as well.

A Few Extras:: The owner has put together a wonderful resource - a notebook of favorite hikes, restaurants and shops to make it easy to plan your vacation in Asheville. Also she lives nearby and is available to answer your questions and help in other ways to create the ideal experience. The Lobster Trap located in the first floor of the building will stock the refrigerator before your arrival if requested with steaks, lobster, etc if you would like. Or, hire the Lobster Trap chef to create a personal dinner for two in the privacy of your condo. Spa Theology, a lovely day spa located next door, offers special package discounts to our guests. Just mention that you are staying in Lynne Harty's unit to get the discount. If Lynne is available she can arrange to have chocolates, wine, etc waiting in your room for an additional fee.

My husband and I spent a week in this condo for our anniversary and we loved every minute. It is very clean, well decorated, and in the best location! We had our 3.5 month old son and it was very quiet and close for times when he needed to rest! Great for walking around the downtown area and within driving distance to all area locations. We will definitely use this place again the next time we get a chance to visit!

Quiet, Lovely Condo

I spent five nights here and couldn't have asked for more! As noted, the downtown location provides easy walking access to restaurants, art galleries, shopping and more. The owner is delightful and eager to help with the smallest of concerns. The bedroom quiet (and I'm a light sleeper). I felt as if I were coming home each day and was glad not to have some sterile hotel room. Well equipped kitchen, but with Asheville restaurants, it didn't get much of a work out. Will definitely return!

Great stay in downtown Asheville

The condo was exactly as described and well appointed for travelers. Perfect location downtown with parking garage across the street but with restaurants and local shops, galleries, etc. all accessible by foot. We took day trips hiking then spent the evenings enjoying all Asheville had to offer. The condo was a perfect retreat. Lynne, the owner, was great... obvious pride in ownership and wants to ensure all needs are met.

Spent six days in this great condo and had a wonderful time. The condo is extremely quiet at night which is wonderful after a full day of hiking. The restaurants, especially the Lobster Trap, are wonderful. Take advantage of the local guide book in the condo as well as Lynne's notebook. It is right on target...

Golfing weekend in Asheville

We stayed at Lynnes loft for a weekend golf outing. Three of us come up each year and we prefer staying intown. The location is in the heart of the city, within a block or two of great restaurants, nightclubs, etc. Although we had three adults in the loft, we did not feel cramped at all. This is due to the layout and the great decorating of the unit. Everything we needed is provided and Lynne communicates well via email. Also, there is a parking garage across the street and some street parking in front of the unit. Very easy to pull up and unload your luggage. We will definitely come back and stay at this unit, in fact Im already counting the days to when we can come back.
