This dream home is designed to comfortably accommodate 2 families. The second floor has a symmetrical design that begins with the Great Room at the center of the home. On each side of the Great Room you will find an oversized master suite with private bath, walk-in closet, and a private entry to the rear patio. In addition to the master suites on each side of the house, you will also enjoy a spacious guest room, full size closet, and access to a seperate large full bathroom. With comfort as the ultimate goal, there are three independent air conditioners for each section to allow for individualized comfort (East, West, and Center rooms).
Wrap-around windows grace the granite countertop kitchen that is not only comfortable and convenient to use, but is fully equipped with all the modern amenities and gorgeous views.
Occasionally, dolphin and manatees have used the basin as their playground. Enjoy nature all around you, with the conveniences of modern living.
Experience beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the wrap-around porch overlooking the basin, and enjoy your favorite breakfast or cocktail. Cool breezes surround you whether you're relaxing in the beach, pool, tiki hut, or floating in the salt water basin. Take a stroll along the 700+ feet of concrete dock and observe the serenity of the sea life surrounding the peninsula.
Bring you boat and in just minutes you are ocean bound and can enjoy fishing, swimming, shelling, or just cruising around Tavernier Key. Your boat can be located just steps from the home and ready to go whenever you are. The size of the property enables you to park your boat trailer comfortably and conveniently inside the gated property, as well as your vehicles.

We purchased the property in 1998 and completed our home in 2007. We enjoyed it tremendously for a year or so and then wished to share this wonderful experience with others. We have always loved the sun, water, and ocean breezes and we find this everytime we stay in our home.
We built our home to enjoy the view and surroundings. We also found that it suits all of our tentants well. We love the sun and surf and have always wanted to live in the Florida Keys. The location of the property and home is central to fishing, diving, and just cruising around by boat or car. The distance from Miami Intl Airport is a comfortable driving time (1 1/2 hrs), as well as going south to visit Key West(2 hrs).
I love the fact that grocery shopping and some simple amenneties are just around the corner. With a grocery store less than 2 miles away, picking up groceries is very simple. The fact that jumping on the boat and cruising down the canal to open water within 5 minutes is exceptional. Tavernier Key, just outside the light channel marker, is a great place to just relax, walk the sandbar, or watch the sun go down over the keys.
Located within a generally quiet residential neighborhood, the home has all you may need. Close to movie theatre, grocery store, shopping, food, post office, hospital (just in case), and much more. Very close to many things, yet still far away to enjoy your own private luxury vacation spot.
