BEAUTIFUL LOG HOME WITH PRIVATE BEACH LOCATED DIRECTLY ON THE AMMONOOSUC RIVER

We stayed at this cabin for a week in August 2009. We have rented cabins before online and were not always pleased with what we found. This cabin however was a different story. The pictures only tell part of the story. The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. The property was spacious and a wonderland for our three boys who did not stop running around for a week. The river in the back was better then Disney world for the boys who threw so many rocks into it I am surprised they did not alter the coarse of the river. The campfires at night were great and the star's were just beautiful. We really enjoyed the mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee. The evenings with a cocktail were not bad either. There are plenty of things to do in the area if you like the outdoors. I would suggest mountain biking on the grounds of Mount Washington resort. Or finding one of the many local swimming holes to spend an afternoon at. If you are looking for a good old fashion vacation where you come home relaxed not tired this is for you. The rental process could not be easier. The owners were great to deal with. We will definitely vacation here again.

We rented this cabin for a week in August 2009 and really loved it. The cabin is beautiful, with a very comfortable open setup. Both the front and back porches were so nice to sit back and relax on. Our boys loved the bunk beds and bean bag chairs in the loft. The river is easy access, just down the path, we even saw a loon land in the yard. We loved hanging out and having a camp fire on the beach down by the river. The cabin is nice and private but located close to all the attractions (e.g. Franconia Notch, Whales Tale, Santa's Village, Story Land, Clark Trading Post). Munroe's Restaurant down the road serves great breakfast, especially the blueberry pancakes!! We have rented many places in the White Mountains over the past several years and this was by far the best! Paul was great to deal with and we would definately come back.

We booked this beautiful log home for my husband's 60th birthday. We planned on our family coming to stay at various times during the week.

The cabin accommodated everyone nicely, including my 2 grandchildren, ages 6 and 3. The loft area worked exceptionally well for the boys.

The log home was wonderful, my husband LOVED it. It was very comfortable and the back deck that overlooked the river was so nice to have coffee in the morning and cocktails in the early evening. There is a gas grill that did a wonderful job with hot dogs, hamburgers and a pork roast as well.

The river was incredible. You could ride a tube from further up the river down to the beach area, you could skim rocks on the river, or just sit on a beach chair. There were a few people occasionally on the opposite shore but for the most part we had the river to ourselves.

We love the Twin Mt area and have gone there for years both in the summer and winter. There is so much to do. We went hiking every morning, lots of trails for the youngsters and me!!!!!

My husband enjoyed the fishing and introduced our daughter (she is 27) to fly fishing on the Ammonoosuc, she loved it and he is just thrilled to have a fishing buddy.

Paul was wonderful to deal with, answered all my questions, even while he was in Hawaii.

If you are interested in a wonderful place to stay while you enjoy the outdoors and New Hampshire this is it.
