Photos and Description of the Twin Mountain vacation house rental 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, sleeps 6 but can sleep 8 with queen air mattress

Beautiful, airy, 3 year old log home with mountain views situated on a spectacular 10 acre private lot directly on the Ammonoosuc River. The house is very conveniently located less than ten minutes from both Cannon Mountain and Bretton Woods Ski areas. Direct access to the NH snowmobile trail network is found at the end of our driveway. Many X-country ski trails are located only 5 - 10 minutes from the cabin as well. Sledding for the kids is available just outside of our walk-out basement. Our home boasts an open and bright floor plan in conjunction with a cozy log design and glass fronted wood burning stove. 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and a bunk bed set are found in the 3 bedrooms to sleep 6. An additional queen size air mattress is also located in the large upstairs bedroom to sleep 2 more and there is room for two additional guest supplied twin air mattresses in the same room. This is a great room to sleep all of the kids.

Great Getaway

We rented this cabin for a week in August 2009 and really loved it. The cabin is beautiful, with a very comfortable open setup. Both the front and back porches were so nice to sit back and relax on. Our boys loved the bunk beds and bean bag chairs in the loft. The river is easy access, just down the path, we even saw a loon land in the yard. We loved hanging out and having a camp fire on the beach down by the river. The cabin is nice and private but located close to all the attractions (e.g. Franconia Notch, Whales Tale, Santa's Village, Story Land, Clark Trading Post). Munroe's Restaurant down the road serves great breakfast, especially the blueberry pancakes!! We have rented many places in the White Mountains over the past several years and this was by far the best! Paul was great to deal with and we would definately come back.

We booked this beautiful log home for my husband's 60th birthday. We planned on our family coming to stay at various times during the week.

The cabin accommodated everyone nicely, including my 2 grandchildren, ages 6 and 3. The loft area worked exceptionally well for the boys.

The log home was wonderful, my husband LOVED it. It was very comfortable and the back deck that overlooked the river was so nice to have coffee in the morning and cocktails in the early evening. There is a gas grill that did a wonderful job with hot dogs, hamburgers and a pork roast as well.

The river was incredible. You could ride a tube from further up the river down to the beach area, you could skim rocks on the river, or just sit on a beach chair. There were a few people occasionally on the opposite shore but for the most part we had the river to ourselves.

We love the Twin Mt area and have gone there for years both in the summer and winter. There is so much to do. We went hiking every morning, lots of trails for the youngsters and me!!!!!

My husband enjoyed the fishing and introduced our daughter (she is 27) to fly fishing on the Ammonoosuc, she loved it and he is just thrilled to have a fishing buddy.

Paul was wonderful to deal with, answered all my questions, even while he was in Hawaii.

If you are interested in a wonderful place to stay while you enjoy the outdoors and New Hampshire this is it.

An awesome cabin retreat!

Only excellent comments for this beatiful cabin along a river. We rented for a ski weekend after previously staying at the Bretton Woods condos. THIS WAS AN INFINITELY better experience.

It's about 10 minutes from the mountain, the cabin is incredibly comfortable and beatiful inside. It's everything the description says and more!

As long as your not looking for it the same weekend we are -- we highly recommend this cabin.

The owners are also a pleasure to deal with, and made the whole experience easy and troublefree.
